Chapter 12

Ari's POV

I woke up and got ready for school. I wore a short white sweater, red high waisted min-skirt, tights, and gray lace up boots. Case just wore Nike attire. We walked outside and caught up with Jacob and walked to school. 

Jacob's POV

I went to my locker and put my stuff away. Jessica came over and asked if she could walk with us. I wanted to say no but I knew she wouldn't listen so I just said sure. We started walking gym with Case.

Case: Okay don't tell Ari or she'll get mad at me but last night she totally flipped out.

Jacob: She did?

Case: Yeah she came in my room and started jumping on my bed talking about how you guys are dating now.

Jessica: You are?!

Jacob: Uh, yeah.

She ran ahead of us. 

Case: Looks like she took the news well...

I rolled my eyes.

Jacob: Why does she act like that? I don't like her in the girlfriend way. I hardly like her in general. She acts like she's my ex or something.

Case: I have no idea. She gets to attached to people. She dated Adien for a month then he broke up with her and she cried for like a week. Non-stop.

Jacob: Wow.

Case: I know. One thing that I hate about Jessica is that she is always trying to be like Ari. Like Ari has curly hair and Jessica doesn't so she got a perm. Ari joined the cheer team in 4th grade and Jessica did like 5 days later.

Jacob: Ari cheers?

Case: Yeah. You didn't know?

I shook my head a little. 

Jacob: Nope.

Case: Well now you do. Anyway, you know how Jessica likes you?

Jacob: Yeah

Case: Yeah well did you also notice how she started flirting with you when she realized how close you and Ari were.

Jacob: Not until just now.

Case: See? It's a pattern. She's always been jealous of Ari. But Ari's the type of person that doesn't pay any attention to it until it gets serious. 

We finally got to gym and this time we ran more laps and played more football. We met up with Ari in choir and Jessica sat behind us for some reason. After that we went to our lockers. Then when I looked over I saw Jessica walk over to Ari and knock her stuff out of her hands and yell at her. As I started walking over there Jessica ran off. I helped Ari pick everything up. 

Jacob: What was that about?

Ari: Nothing.

Jacob: You sure? 

Ari: Yeah i'll be fine.

Jacob: What did she say?

Ari: Nothing!

Jacob: Ari...

Ari: Jacob, let it go.

We went to our next class. After school we all did homework together at my place then they went home. The next day I woke up and got ready for school and met up with Ari and Case as usual. Case was a hooded shirt with jeans. Ari was wearing a white long sleeve shirt that showed her shoulders, high-waisted blue jeans that had holes on the knees, and black and white Addidas. Case and I walked to gym and of course Jessica followed me.

Skips to lunch...

We all sat with our friends at lunch and Cooper started messing around and we all started laughing. Then Jessica walked over.

Jessica: What's so funny?

She said in a really rude tone. She looked right at Ari and everybody gave Jessica a dirty look.

Ari: Nothing you need to know.

Wow. Ari actually said something instead of ignoring her this time.

Jessica: Why not? *Whispers* bitch.

Ari: Okay what the hell's your problem?

Ari stood up. Everybody started saying "Oooooo". 

Jacob: *Whispers* Babe just sit down.

She ignored me.

Jessica: You! Your my problem!!

Jessica slapped Ari

Case: Oh shit. 

Ari slapped her back. Jessica did not look happy. She stood back then ran and pushed Ari. They both started fighting and I got a little close. I did feel pretty bad but did laugh cause Ari was kicking Jessica's ass. People started crowding around laughing and cheering  Ari on and chanting to keep fighting. Some even started video taping. Jessica ended up rolling them over and the principal pushed through the crowd. He picked Jessica up and held her so she would stop. Ari stood up. Then she stood back and I could tell what she was about to do. I stood a little more in the way. I couldn't help but laugh a little again because of how pissed she was. It was kinda cute. She started running towards them and jumped but I caught her and threw her over my shoulder. I ran out as she tried to get free. When I got far enough and she was calm enough I put her down. I checked her face and she had a few scratches, her lip was bleeding, and I could see a bruise forming on her temple.

Ari: Ow. What are you doing?

Jacob: Checking your face...wow that must hurt.

Ari: No duh. And you touching it doesn't help.

Jacob: I'll go get you some ice. Please stay here. 

Ari: Why?

Jacob: I don't want you to find her and try to fight her again. So please? For me?

She rolled her eyes.

Ari: Fine

Jacob: Alright. I'll be right back.

I got her ice from the office and when I got back I saw Case high-five her then hug her real quick. I walked over to them.

Case: You totally kicked her ass!

Ari laughed a little.

Jacob: Here.

I gave her the ice and she put it on her temple. I kissed her forehead.

Case: Looks like we won't be seeing you for like three days.

Ari: Suspended?

Case: Yeah. But Jessica is suspended for five because she started the fight.

Jacob: Good. She shouldn't have slapped Ari. 

Ari: I have no idea what I did to her. I've always tried to be nice even when she was mean.

Case: I don't know. She's just jealous of you. 

Jessica's POV

I cannot believe this. I had to get pulled back by the principle instead of one of my friends or a cute guy. Like what the hell?! Jacob freakin caught Ari! And the principle had to hold me down. I wish Jacob would have done that to me! I was on top why didn't HE pull me off. God that's so embarrassing! Plus i'm getting suspended! For five damn days. And Ari will only suspended for three! That's not fair! It's her fault. If she would have just let me date Jacob it wouldn't have been a problem!
