Chapter 32

Jacob's POV

I decided to pull out my phone and make an entire YouTube video out of what I was doing

Jacob: What's up guys Its Jacob! Yo okay...

I laughed. I don't know why I found this funny but I did.

Jacob: Ari has been ignoring me for the last hour so i'm about to spoil her. For all of the guys that are watching, if any, just watch and learn. Alright Ari loves chocolate soooo...

I looked at all the chocolate they had and decided to get a big of Hershey's kisses

Jacob: I'll get her this

I put it in the basket and kept walking. 

Jacob: Ari's favorite candy are LifeSavers so i'm gonna get her a big bag of those 

I grabbed one and put it in the basket. 

Jacob: How about popcorn...?

I looked around

Jacob: Here we go

I picked her favorite type and put it in the basket. 

Jacob: Okay so Ari is like in love with gum so i'm gonna get one of those really big packs that have like 35 pieces in it when I get to the check out line. Now i'm gonna get movies, a blanket, a stuffed animal, her favorite drink, and something to put all the stuff in.

I went to where they had the movies. I picked out 3 that I thought she would be interested in. 

Jacob: I'm bad at picking out movies so I hope she likes these

I said laughing. I saw the blankets and picked out a big one that was super soft. It was white.

Jacob: I know for a fact she will like this

In the same isles there were teddy bears so I picked one out. It looked to be medium size and was really fluffy. There was a guy walking past and I decided to be funny.

Jacob: Hey will you be my friend?

I asked as my eyes followed where he was walking and he just ignored me. I looked back at the camera while laughing softly. 

Jacob: Not the first time I've been ignored today. 

I put the teddy bear in the basket and kept walking. I got to where they had the drinks and got 4 cans of Arizona tea. I got one of the green tea kind, one of the original kind, then two half and half ones which were half lemonade and half tea. 

Jacob: Okay so I covered her favorite types of tea and now I need to get something to put all the stuff in

I looked around and found a decorative bag with all of her favorite colors on it. 

Jacob: Got it

I went to the check out line and got the gum. After everything was bagged I paid and went to the bench. 

Jacob: O-

?: OMG IS THAT JACOB SARTORIUS?!?!?!

I turned to look at the girl that yelled it. She came over and gave me a hug.

Jacob: Hey cutie! What's your name?

I said while laughing.

?: Ameria 

Jacob: That's a pretty name

Ameria: Oml thank you! Mind if I get a few pics?

Jacob: Not at all!

I propped my phone up on the bench and took a few pictures with her then she left. I grabbed my phone.

Jacob: So now i'm gonna hurry up and put all this stuff in the bag

I put the blanket in first then the teddy bear. I put the popcorn in it's lap and the movies in front of the popcorn then, a bag of candy on each side of the teddy bear. After that I put the gum and 4 cans of tea in. 

Jacob: Okay so i'm gonna pause this and when I get back to Ari's house I will record her reaction

I paused it and put my phone in my pocket. I walked out happily. Then felt somebody tap my shoulder. I turned around. 

?: Hey um...my name is Cady and I was wondering if I could get your number

I laughed softly

Jacob: I have a girlfriend 

Cady: Got proof?

I took out my phone and showed her my lock screen which was a picture of Ari.

Cady: She doesn't have to know

Jacob: No I couldn't hurt her like that and i'm also just not interested

Cady: Well...

She grabbed a paper and wrote on it then handed it to me.

Cady: If it doesn't work out you have my number

I looked at it and crumpled it up then threw it in the trash and walked away. Before I had done that I was considering saying something like "I think you've mistaken this for you weight" but didn't say it knowing I'd probably get slapped. And it was also really mean. I walked back to Ari's house and Case let me in again. I went to her room and she was at her desk texting. I put the bag on her desk and she looked at me. I pulled out my phone and recorded her. She opened it. 

Ari: Why'd you get me all of this

Jacob: Because I love you...

She laughed.

Ari: Well...

She pulled out a bag from the side of her desk and handed it to me.

Jacob: Wait really? I'm supposed to be spoiling you not the other way around

I opened it and it was a bunch of my favorite candy and 20 bucks.

Jacob: Wait why 20 bucks?

She shugged

Ari: Because I love youuuu...

I laughed and turned off my camera.
