Jacob's POV

Ari was laying down on her bed covered up with the blanket i got her. And was hugging the teddy bear I got her while I sat up the movie. She giggled.

Ari: Jake?

She called. I smiled because I loved when she calls me things like that.

Jacob: What is it?

Ari: I think you have competition

Jacob: Better not

I said while laughing a little

Ari: This bear has gotta be the best cuddler ever

Jacob: Game on Mr. Bear

The movie started playing and I turned off the lights. I laid down next to her and wrapped my arms around her while pulling her closer.

Jacob: How about now?

Ari: Yeah Mr. Bear lost

She said while putting the bear behind me.

Jacob: Good

Ari: I'm gonna text my parents to see when they get back

She pulled out her phone

Jacob: Speaking of your parents...do they know about us?

Ari: What do you mean?

She asked while texting

Jacob: Like that we're dating

Ari: No...do yours?

Jacob: I think they're getting suspicious about it

Ari: In a bad way or...

Jacob: No of course not in a bad way

Ari: Well that's good

Jacob: You know, my parents actually really like you. They've never really let's say appreciated any of the girls I dated or were friends with except for Ariel

She laughed a little and put her phone down.

Ari: My Dad always hated Joey and my Mom thought he was okay

Jacob: Did you love him at all?

Ari: No, I just really liked him

I got a little jealous but tried to shake it off.

Jacob: How'd you meet?

Ari: It was through Mario. He threw a small party and Joey came. We started talking and a few months later we started dating

Jacob: Who asked who out?

She laughed a little again.

Ari: Why do you wanna know all this stuff so bad?

Jacob: Just curious...

Ari: He asked me

Jacob: How long did you last?

Ari: Four months

Jacob: Did you ever fight?

Ari: Yeah...

Jacob: Did he yell at you?

Ari: All the time

Jacob: I'm sorry...

I said hugging her a little tighter

Ari: Not your fault

Jacob: You know I wouldn't do that...right?

Ari: Joey said the same thing when we first started dating. He told me there was nobody else in the world he would ever want more than me for the rest of his life. He told me he'd never yell. He told me a lot of things. He promised a lot of things. But broke the promises and didn't keep his word. I know your different, I really do but that's just for now. People promise and say things all the time but never live up to it.

I hugged her a little tighter.

Jacob: It seems like that because someome you trusted broke that. And it hurt. After that your probably paranoid all the time. Thinking that when I go out I could be with another girl. Thinking I could be texting or calling another girl. Right?

She paused for a second.

Ari: Sometimes

Jacob: Well I have something that I wanna tell you

Ari: I'm listening

Jacob: When I was at the store there was a girl. If I remeber her name correctly it was Cady...or Cathy...cant really remember. But anyway, she came up to me and asked for my number. I said that I had a girlfriend and she asked for proof. So, I showed her a picture of you. She told me you didn't need to know and I said no thanks and that I couldn't hurt you like that. She gave me her number but I ripped it up right in front of her and threw it away. If you don't believe me...

I pulled phone out of my pocket

Jacob: You can search my phone

I said while gesturing it toward her.

Ari: No...I trust you

Jacob: You don't wanna check?

Ari: Nope

Jacob: Alright....

I said while pitting the phone back in my pocket.

Jacob: I was seriously thinking about saying something mean like "I believe you have mistaken that for your weight" but I didn't wanna get slapped so I didn't say it

She laughed softly.

Ari: Well you were very smaller for not saying that cause you definitely would have gotten slapped

Jacob: I know and its pretty rude....

Ari: True

The conversation pretty much ended there so we watched the movie.
