Chapter 22-Camille's soul song

Jarrod remembers this one time when he was at Dai Shi's temple. It's a very vivid memory because thats when he realised he loved Camille. Dai Shi had just shunned her for failed attack number goodness knows what and she had ran off crying. He felt so bad but Dai Shi didn't feel the guilt...much. Jarrod hated seeing her cry, and even Dai Shi didn't really like to see her hurt either. So he decided to follow after her and apologise for snapping at her.

As he reached her bedchamber her could hear a soft voice. It was Camille. She was singing. He goes closer to her locked door and listens.

On the first page of our story

He could hear her voice is choked up with emotion but shes fighting it the best she can.

Dai Shi was almost in tears by that, as was the lion who's spirit resided within him. For one thing, she was a gorgeous singer. Secondly, she was singing about THEM. Her and Him. That's what made is so special to him.

He would often catch her singing sometimes, depending on her mood. If she was sad, she'd sing a sad song. If she was happy, she'd be singing happily with a spring in her step and so on.

She found her soul song and hadn't even realised it.
