39. Surprise

I sat with my best friend, Grace on the couch in the living room of the home that Shawn and I shared. Shawn was away on the tour for his most recent album and I had been feeling especially lonely today. Out of the blue, Grace started to film me on her phone.

    "What are you doing?" I asked.

    "You'll see." She said.

    Suddenly, the garage door opened and I heard two footsteps coming up the stairs, when the door swung open, Shawn was there. Oh my gosh. This can't be happening. He's on tour. I sat there as shocked as I had ever been before running up to him to greet him.

    "SHAWN!" I screamed. "You're home!"

    "I am baby. You don't know how much I have missed you. I missed you so much my love." He said. I giggled.

    "I think I missed you more honey. God I am so happy to see you. Are you going to kiss me already?" I said, my lips feeling eager to meet with his. He laughed before connecting our lips. My stomach did flips as our lips moved in sync with each other. We pulled away when we heard Grace clear her throat before we all started laughing. Man was I glad to have Shawn and his divine lips home.
