153. For Wryliegh

Today is the big day. Today is the day that I meet my idol and crush, Shawn Mendes. He has a meet and greet in Portland, Oregon today and I'm really excited. I had laid out my favorite outfit the night before, so this morning I could just put it on. I took a shower and did my hair before putting the clothes on. Finally, I was ready.

I got to the venue at the scheduled time, and waited in line. Wow. There were a lot of pretty girls surrounding me. Surely he would like one of them and maybe even slip one of them his number. It was finally my turn and I went up to him. Wow. He's even more handsome in person. He looked at me and smiled. When he smiled at me, my body did something, my heart fluttered.

"Hey Hun, what's your name?" Shawn asked me.

"Wryliegh." I said.

"Beautiful name for a beautiful girl." Shawn said. I smiled at him and did our pose. "Wait, before you go, I want to give you something. Maybe I could take you out sometime. If you want to of course but I totally understand if you don't." Shawn said as he slipped me a piece of paper.

"I would love to, but how would I get in contact with you?" I asked. He pointed at the paper. He had put his number on it.

"I put my number on it. Maybe I'll see you later?" Shawn asked.

"You definitely will." I said with a smile. Shawn smiled at me and winked at me before turning so the next person could walk in. I turned to leave, feeling ecstatic that Shawn Mendes had just given me his number. I was not expecting that, at all. I put the piece of paper in my pocket and walked away feeling giddy and excited. Shawn could only stay in town for a couple of days so we met up the next day at a local cafe that I picked out.

"Hey there beautiful." Shawn said when he saw me sitting in a booth. I blushed.

"Hey there handsome." I said, somehow finding some confidence within me. Shawn blushed and smiled. We had a really nice date and it went wonderfully. We talked constantly for the next few weeks and Shawn soon asked me to be his girlfriend. I said yes, and the rest is history.
