"You didn't even bother to shoot me a text saying that your ass was all the way back in Russia for the Holidays?!"

Phicit's loud voice and Millie's impatient sighs echoed through the speakers of my phone, filling up my entire apartment with noise.

It immediately woke me up from my sleep coma.

It did a better job than my alarm.

"First of all, calm down. Second of all, how'd you find out?" I said with a dazed voice and clouded eyes.

"Your snapchat story, obviously."

"Oh."

"Don't try to sound too enthusiastic, Yuri," Millie said in her sarcastic voice that I had missed so much.

"Did you not want us to find out Mr. introvert?" Phicit said with an interrogative tone.

It's not that I didn't want them to know I was back in town, it's just that.......

It seriously had been 3 years since I'd been back home.

I didn't know if there would still be room for me to fit back into their lives.

How could there be?

I left with a packed suitcase and no goodbye to give them.

Or even an explanation.

I didn't want to assume that I still mattered to them.

"Of course not. I just got distracted with unpacking and settling in."

"Well, you better finish settling in, because we're on our way to your hotel to take you out for a celebratory drink!" Phicit said with his undying enthusiasm.

Dear Jesus.

"You know I don't drink."

"You always say that," Millie said with a tone that gave away her smirk.

"Shut the fuck up."

"Anyways, get your anti-social ass ready and let's show Russia who's back in town!"

As Phicit hung up the phone, I knew I didn't exactly have a choice in the matter.

I never did when it came to these spontaneous nights out on the town.

So, I strolled over to my closet and put on what I assumed was an acceptable outfit.

Assume was the key word.

As I shut my door and made my way down the grand staircase of the hotel, I had a feeling it was going to be a long and exhausting night.

And god, was I right.

I spotted Phicit and Millie leaning against the pillars of the lobby and I ran over to them as soon as our eyes met.

"I'm seriously going to cry I'm so happy!" Phicit said as he pulled us into a cliche group hug.

There was no denying the fact that we were tied together for life.

Call me cliche, but we were the golden trio.

"Ugh, please don't," I said with a fat smile on my face as I genuinely laughed.

"Seriously, don't," Millie added.

It was the best feeling in the world to be surrounded by these two amazing people again.

I guess I was too occupied with my new life to realize how much I actually missed them.

How much I needed them.

I was stupid to not call them the minute I got off that plane.

But regardless, we were finally back to being a complete puzzle again.
