Victor's Point Of View

Yuri has no idea how beautiful he is.

How beautiful he is to me.

In fact, I don't think he'll ever know or be able to know how he looks through the iris of my blue eyes that shine for him, and only for him.

And there's not a moment in which I find him anything short of perfect or unparalleled, even though too often, he finds himself feeling unworthy and at a loss for his potential.

..................

But there is a certain moment in which I find him the most beautiful.

Completely and effortlessly beautiful.

As if nothing compares to the way he looks when his eyes are closed.......

When he's sleeping.

Sure, that sounds creepy, almost as if all I do is just spend my time drowning in soft bed sheets, watching him while he's trapped in a dreaming coma........

But it's true.

Yuri is so god damn beautiful when he's asleep.

Because his soft, pale eyelids are resting over his dark like chocolate eyes, while his eyelashes decorate his skin, eyelashes that are too long to even belong to him..........

And his rosebud lips barely make a sound as his ebony hair falls against his forehead, the rise and fall of his chest being the one and only thing that gets me to close my own eyes and sleep off the day.......

As if it is a rhythm that suffices my constant need to keep my eyes awake and alive.

And because of this reason........

A part of me wishes that Yuri could just sleep forever.

And not for shallow reasons.........

But because there is no other time in which Yuri looks so serene and at peace.

There is no other time in which he doesn't have to worry about anything except the dream that he is creating in his mind, along with the soft breaths that he's letting out against his pillow.........

And that's all I want.

I want him to be at peace.
