Yuri's Point Of View

Today was my day off.

Finally, I could just breathe.

My plan was to spend the whole day by myself, doing the usual.

Laying in bed while watching cheesy holiday movies and ordering a delicious mimosa to sip on.

I was going to live the dream.

Ugh, my life must be really sad if that's the dream.

But I slowly sat up from my bed and deeply stretched as I let out a long yawn.

I reached over to grab the phone and dialed room service nervously.

I sucked at talking to people over the phone.

Actually, that wasn't true.

I sucked at talking to people regardless.

I was hopeless

.........

"Good morning sir! This is room service, how may I help you?" the woman said with a light voice.

"Uh good morning, I was just wondering if I could get a mimosa with a breakfast burrito meal?"

"Of course! What is your room number?"

"U-Uh umm, 307."

"Okay, we will have it upstairs to you as soon as possible!"

"Arigatou! I-I mean thank you so much," I said as I immediately hung up the phone and turned the TV on with a single click.

Nice job Yuri.

You just had to let your language slip out.

I let go of my mistake and fell back into the support of my bed sheets.

Ah, finally.

Instead of listening to Victor's instructions today, I would only be listening to the sounds of holiday music seep through the screen.

I loved hotels.

As soon as I found the right movie, 10 minutes later, I heard room service lightly knock on my door.

Thank god they were fast, I was starving.

I eagerly leaped out of bed and opened the door up with a grateful smile and dragged the cart inside.

I left the door open with nothing but the latch, just in case I would need to grab anything else.

And as I lay back down in my soft bed and felt the tingling sensation of the mimosa against my lips and the enticing smell of the burrito, I was finally relaxed.

But that relaxation only lasted about 5 minutes.

Because before I knew it, the door burst open to reveal a loud voice accented by that platinum hair that was all too familiar.

"GOOD MORNING YURI!" Victor said as he aggressively shut the door behind himself and looked at me with a huge smile.

I had never screamed so loud before in my entire life.

"AHHH, WHAT THE HELL..." I violently screamed as my mimosa spilled all over my neck and down my white tank top and bed sheets.

"Jesus Yuri, this isn't a horror movie," he said as that smirk spread across his face.

What was happening?

Is this a really weird dream?

"Oh, so strange men just barging into my hotel room at 7 in the morning is supposed to just not scare me?!" I said as I looked down at my wet torso.
