I walked into the Salvatore house excitedly but frowned when I saw Damon hitting the couch repeatedly with a crow bar. I walked over slowly watching the leather rip as he continued to let out his frustration.

I furrowed my eyebrows and crossed my arms, "..What the hell are you doing?"

He looked up at me and his eyes widened as he scolded, "You.." He raced over but I held my hand up quickly making him stop and fall to his knees, groaning while he held his head in pain.

I tilted my head, "No need for that." I shook my head before putting my hand down, listening to his sigh of relief.

"You and your blonde little sidekick turned off Stefan's humanity." He got up and picked the crow bar back up before swinging it into a nearby lamp, making me jump as the sound of glass breaking erupted. "Bad timing, Nayeli."

"Look, I was just helping Caroline who had completely good reason to do what she did." I shrugged, "She told him not to get in her way and that's exactly what he did." I looked at him and he stood quiet, knowing I was right. I chuckled before changing topics, "Breakfast anyone?" I walked into his kitchen and he followed.

"Stefan without his humanity is one artery away from Stefan the ripper." He said, making me stop in my tracks, "You know what it's like being a ripper, Nayeli. Everyday that goes by is one year of guilt waiting for him on the other side."

I whipped around to face him, "Look, Damon, I told you it was nothing personal but the damage has been done! What the hell do you want me to do about it?" I snapped.

His eyes darkened and before I knew it I was pinned against the wall as he stared at me angrily, "I want you to get your new best friend's humanity back so that I can get my brother back." He whispered and backed away.

"Are you stupid? Stefan trying to get Caroline's humanity back is why we're in this mess in the first place." I argued and followed him into the living room where he continued to break objects.

He glared at me before speaking, "Get her back or-"

"Or what?" I cut off, challenging him. I scoffed when he said nothing but continued nevertheless. "Listen, I know you're mad but I have an idea that will get them both back." I proposed, getting his attention.

He stopped for a moment and looked at me, "I'm listening."

"You said Stefan's a mama's boy, right? That he would practically hang himself from her apron strings if it meant getting her approval." I stared at him for any sign that I was incorrect but he nodded so I continued,

"Well.. We know she's stuck in that prison world," I dragged my finger across the table, "and I know how to get her back." I looked up at him, waiting for a reaction.

His eyes widened before he responded, "No. No way."

I threw my hands up, "Damon this is our way of getting Stefan back, and if we get Stefan back we can get Caroline back too. Except this time, way more subtly." I mumbled.

"Nayeli, this woman killed so many people that an entire coven of witches built her a permanent time-out." He disagreed making me sigh, "You don't fix one ripper problem but unleashing another ripper."

"Aren't you the least bit curious to see her?"

...

"I am not helping you!" Bonnie rejected quickly and tried to close the door but Damon stopped it with his foot, mumbling 'ow' as he did.

"I hate Kai. You guys know that, especially you," Bonnie looked over at me and I huffed, "and the first thing you did when I got back was throw him in my face to fake apologize." She crossed her arms as she stood there angrily.
