"I brought mimosas!" I cheered as I walked into the building holding up said drinks with a bright smile. Jo turned to me and Elena shook her head signifying it wasn't the best timing. I furrowed my eyebrows glancing over at Bonnie who shrugged. I sighed and walked over to the three, "Look I'm sorry I'm late but they're non-alcoholic." I said in a sing-song voice looking over to Jo with a raised eyebrow and a smirk.

Jo walked over and took the drink from me, "One, a nonalcoholic mimosa is just juice. Two, I can't drink. Somebody should drink. You should drink." She turned to Elena, giving her the drink.

I stepped in between the two, taking the drink Jo gave to Elena, "Elena will drink eventually, she's got human tendencies to think about now which is cheaper but a lot less fun." I said as Elena nodded in agreement from behind me. Jo looked at me hesitantly with a stressed look in her eye.

My shoulder slumped as I titled my head, "Come on, Jo! Stop panicking, you'll be walking down the aisle in T-minus 10 hours and we-" I pointed between me, Elena, and Bonnie. "-are here to help you so drink the damn mimosa." I laughed slightly, watching as she slowly took the drink from my hand.

I grinned in approval before drinking with her. Jo's phone rang loudly and she went to pick it up before Elena beat her to it, holding up a hand to her before mumbling, "Relax." Jo ran a hand through her hair worriedly as she took deep breaths.

"Jo's phone." Elena answered chirpily before he smile faded, "Oh. Huh. -Uh, okay."

"That's not an 'okay' okay." Jo began to freak, stepping closer to Elena making me place a hand on her shoulder to calm her down although it wasn't working. "That's a 'there's a problem' okay."  Bonnie walked over and stood next to Elena, practically eavesdropping on the conversation.

Elena ignored her worries and continued to speak on the phone, "Yeah, we'll call you back. Okay, bye." She sighed, placing the phone down before turning to Jo who was waiting anxiously. "Danielle has the flu." Elena waited for Jo's reaction nervously.

Jo stared at her calmy for a few moments before letting out a small chuckle, "It sounded like you just said 'Danielle has the flu' which is impossible because Danielle is my wedding coordinator."

Elena looked over at me with a raised eyebrow as if expecting me to magically fix everything. I furrowed my eyebrows and shook my head softly before looking over at Bonnie who raised her hands in defense and walking away slowly.

I scoffed and rolled my eyes before putting on a small smile for Jo, ready to tell her that I would handle things until a voice spoke behind me.

"To be honest, maybe this is a good thing." Caroline appeared making me sigh in relief that I wouldn't have to pretend I actually knew how to fix this situation. "Because no matter how good Danielle was, I'm pretty sure I'm better." She smirked, placing her hands on her hips.

I smiled brightly over to Elena who has the same expression mirrored on her face.

"Nayeli, go down to the store and get flowers. Specifically white dahlias obviously, this wedding isn't going to be a disaster." She said in a 'duh' tone and I nodded, not even hesitating, just grateful that it wouldn't be me who was dealing with this. "You got it, chief."

...

I walked around the outside garden store endlessly, finding that white dahlias were harder to find than I had assumed it was. I searched carefully for the flowers, realizing that there was a familiar presence that had been with me all the while.

I sighed out loud but nevertheless kept searching, "What, are you following me now?" I questioned out loud before turning around and crossing my arms toward the vampire I've only met once.
