The Collector

The group stands around the hood of the car going over everything they have.

"Flashlight. No batteries. Half a bottle of aspirin. Well, I got no ammo. Found this." Doc says as he picks up a crowbar.

"I got two batteries and four bullets," Warren says

"I got two in my gun and two randoms and those," Addy says placing two bullets on the car and some gum.

"You got gum?" Warren asks

"For repair purposes only," Addy says as Doc puts an arm around her.

"Remember fresh breath?" Doc says blowing in Addy's face.

"Oh." Addy says disgustedly

"Couple of bullets. Road flares." Vasquez says

"I got one empty clip," 10k says placing them on the hood.

"I got four bullets in each gun. Twenty quarters and gears. two dead batteries. And two spare bullets." Ace says placing the bad of gears and quarters on the table

"You know what? See if this fits." Addy says handing 10k the bullets and he puts them in the clip

"I know this looks shaky but we will find a way to get Murphy to California."

"Well, I'm hungry." Doc says out of the blue

He walks over to Murphy who lays across the back seats of the convertible.

"Hey, sleeping beauty," Doc says

Murphy lifts up his fedora and looks at Doc. He stares at Doc weirdly.

"What are you looking at?" Doc asks

Murphy doesn't answer, he just keeps staring at Doc. He licks his lips and dazes off. Doc calls him but he doesn't answer.

Doc shakes his foot and Murphy wakes up.

"What?" Murphy asks rudely.

"Help me find some lunch. Nuts, fruit edible tree bark." Doc jokes

"Edible tree bark, huh?"

Murphy and Doc go off into the woods and start picking at trees and chewing on them. Murphy wandered off into the woods.

Warren honks the horn, indicating they were leaving. Vasquez checks the tank. 3 or 4 gallons left.

"Hey, Where's Murphy?" Warren asks as Doc walks up to the car

"He's right behind me," Doc says

He turns around and Murphy isn't there.

"Damnit Murphy!" Doc yells

"How do you just lose Murphy? What do you mean, he was right behind you? Really?!" Warren scolds

The group takes off into the woods to look for him.

With Murphy

Murphy fell into a trap after trying to reach a brain that was tied to a tree. He literally fell down the trap.

He sits down there with only a small light emitting around the room. A zombie sits in there with him, eating the face of a person.

"Help! Help!" Murphy calls. "Doc! Warren! Your mission's fallen down the rabbit hole!"

He screams up to the top of the trap.

"Vasquez! Your bounty's missing! Ace! Your dad is gone! Help!"
