The group walks down the road. Murphy still complaining. Zombie buffalo scatter the dry grass fields. They walk through the grass and away from the road. Behind them sits a large, strange looking cloud with thunder in the sky.
"We are going the wrong direction. Again." Murphy says as they walk over a hill
"You left is no choice. Too much fallout in the West." Warren says
"Again. That was not my fault."
"Murphy, don't make me have to explain the term 'failsafe doomsday weapon' again. Please." Doc pleads
"How do you even know California's still there?" Murphy asks
"You're looking ripe. You better hope it's still there. Move." The man names Vazquez says shoving him forward.
Murphy turns around and looks at the man.
"You are not the boss of me. She is." Murphy says gesturing to Warren
Vasquez starts walking towards Murphy but Ace grabs the back of Vasquez's vest and pulls him back. She holds a knife to his throat and slowly shakes her head no.
"She is too, sometimes," Murphy adds
Ace flips around and shoves Murphy forward.
"Move." She says in a polite voice
"Gladly," Murphy says as he turns around and keeps walking.
"You'll get used to him," Warren tells Vasquez.
10k looks at Ace with worried eyes. She walks behind Murphy with her head down.
"Is she always like this?" Vasquez asks Warren
"No. Only when she lost someone close to her." Warren answers as she looks to Ace with sorrow filled eyes

They stop on the side of the road to see a car flipped over and on fire. Warren uses 10k's sniper as a scope. Ace stays a few feet behind Warren.
They watch as a cargo truck drives down the dirt road. People stand on the back and in the cars on the back as well. Ribbons hang from the front to back of the truck and blow in the wind as they drive.
"Is that some kind of post-apocalypse wagon train?" Doc asks
"Well, it ain't the 3:10 to Yuma," Warren says
Two small cars follow the truck as they pull up to the car that caught fire. A man fires at the front of the truck and they pull over. The small cars follow.
"Don't get out the truck," Warren warns from afar.
"It's gonna be a slaughter," Addy says disappointed
"Can't expect to travel through a valley without an ambush. Didn't nobody ever watch westerns growing up?" Murphy says as Cassandra continues to give him a massage.
Motorcycles and quads ride up to the truck from the back. People start to get out of the truck with guns.
They start to fire at each other and people get shot down.
"Where's Ace?" 10k asks in a panic
"She left a while ago. She's down there." Vazquez says pointing to Ace who is shooting at the people attacking the truck
