"Hey, Callum."

"Hello, Jade."

We eye each other up before bursting into laughter, Nate shaking his head at the two of us, a smile playing on his lips. "You two are so immature."

"So, what are we doing today?" Callum asks, eyeing the box in my hand.

"Well, I found this thing at a market a couple months ago, seeing as Herobrine is my dad, I thought we could see if this actually works?" I propose.

"Let me see it?" I chuck the box at him and he easily catches it, reading the label on the bottom of the container. "Wow, so we're risking death. Good idea, I want to see Natty get his ass handed to him," Callum laughs.

"Cal, you little shit. If anyone's getting their ass handed to them, it'll be you," he fires back, a smirk on his lips.

"Alright, let's set this up," I interject before the boys can start having another insult fight.

Callum throws the wooden box over to me and I place it on the ground, pulling out the instructions and materials inside. "It says we need to get a small fire going, can you collect some sticks?" I ask Nate, and he nods, changing into a ginger wolf and running around, collecting sticks and twigs in his mouth as Callum kneels beside me, reading over the instructions.

"How we gonna start the fire?" I hold my finger up, a small flame dancing around it, Callum's eyes widening in amazement. "That's so cool," he breathes out. Nate trots back over, placing all the sticks down as he changes back into human form. I flick my finger at the bundle, the fire instantly starting.

"Okay, now we need to pour this stuff on it," I say, handing Callum a little bottle of dust. Looks like crushed ender pearls. He tips it onto the fire and I stand up, taking my sword and pricking my finger with the very tip of it, squeezing some blood out that I drop onto the fire. "Now, we just need to pour this on it," I finish, tipping out the contents of another bottle, I think it's obsidian mixed with nether quartz?

We all stand back as the fire changes to a bright white, a glow appearing above it. Suddenly, Dad is spat out from the glow, and he instantly leaps to his feet, brandishing two glowing swords. His magic hisses blindly until his eyes land on the three of us, his magic and himself instantly calming down, the swords disappearing.

"What the hell was that?" Dad asks, looking at the three of us.

"I found a summoning kit at a market, we thought we'd test it out," I reply, shrugging.

"Hey Hero!" Callum greets, waving at him.

"Hi, Callum. You three are trouble together," Dad chuckles, placing his hands on his hips as he assesses the three of us. "A bunch of troublemakers."

"Like when Karn and you were younger?" I fire back.

"Oh no, we were much much worse," Dad laughs. "Well, I need to get going, don't do anything I would do."

"See ya, Dad."

"Bye." He teleports away in a flash of white.

"Well, do you two want to come to my house?" Nate offers. "My parents are away."

"Ooooh la la," Callum replies, earning him a smack from Nathan.

"Dickhead," Nate grumbles.

"Asshole," Callum fires back.

"That would be awesome, Nate," I reply, earning myself a smile from Callum, a curious, happy sort of smile.

"You are so lucky, Natty, you definitely got a good one," Callum says to Nate.
