Regina steps away from us, eyebrows furrowing as her magic swirls before seemingly swallowing her up, but she stays standing in the corner of the room. Dad looks curiously over at us, eyebrows knitting together slightly at the frown adorning my face. "You okay?"

"Yeah, just wondering what the hell she is doing," I reply back over the link.

"She's trying to connect and talk with her sister, but it's harder for the witches. Notch only banished two of them, which effectively cuts off the links at the same time. She has to put a lot more effort into connecting, and even then it only works if Stacy wants to let her in." He explains.

She grunts in effort, nails digging into her scalp. "Stacy, don't you dare..." she mutter with so much venom in her voice that a shiver runs down my spine.

"Regie?" Dad asks, getting off the couch now, legs unfurling and feet plonking onto the floor as he steps towards her. "Regina? Pull out of it if it's too much, don't let her hurt you."

"Stacy...NO!" Her eyes snap open, pure white and glowing and Dad suddenly crumbles to the floor in pain, teeth gritted as he writhes around, hands fisting at his hair. His eyes crack open slightly and I gasp at the familiar cocoa. His eyes screw shut again as another burst of pain wracks through him, a scream tearing from his lips. Nate and I rush forward, carefully reaching out to him, Regina's voice white noise in the background.

"Dad? Dad can you hear me? Dad!" I carefully shake him but he doesn't responds, his muscles spasming again magic clawing out in pain too, even as mine tries to soothe it. "Dad?"

"What are you doing to him?!" Nate snarls at Regina, canines making his teeth look sharp, pupils narrowing.

"Stacy, please, you need to listen, just for a second," Regina pleads, eyebrows scrunching together like paper. "You can't do this, it could rip the fabric of reality apart!"

Her body spasms wildly and Dad cries out in pure agony, magic spasming along with his muscles, tears pouring from his eyes. "Regina! Stop it!" I scream at her, my hands hovering above Dad with fear.

"Stacy!"

She suddenly stumbles backwards as though someone shoved her, eyes filling with colour again. Dad moans on the ground, pain ebbing away slowly from his magic. "What did you do to him?!" I yell at her, her eyes widening in horror upon seeing Dad lying on the ground before she composes herself once again.

"Stacy dragged me into a different realm as such, she forced me to communicate through your dad, which is not pleasant as I am effectively using his soul as a middle man. She did the same with Notch." She steps forward, Nate growling protectively, but she scoops Dad up, carefully depositing him on the couch.

"Is he going to be okay?" I ask, sitting on the ground beside Dad's limp body. Nathan sits down next to me, magic calming down more as my magic wraps around his.

"He'll be fine, I promise," Regina says, meeting my eyes.

"Okay."

Time slowly ticks by as Dad doesn't stir, Regina busying herself with brewing different concoctions, scents tingling in my nose before changing. She carefully walks back over again, a steaming bowl in hand that she carefully waves under Dad's nose, his steady breaths causing him to i hale the purplish steam. Slowly, his eyes blink open once again, the brown glazed with white but still slightly visible. "What the hell?" He grumbles, swinging his legs over the couch, rubbing at his head.

"Welcome back to the land of the living," Regina tells him, moving away to place the bowl on a clear counter top. "Sorry about what happened, Stacy pulled me through."
