Nathan sits across from me, sipping at his coffee, ghasts crying in the distance, a skeleton approaching to take away my cup. "Do you want me to take that?" she asks politely, gesturing towards the cup.

"That would be great, thank you very much," I respond in Mobish, handing her the cup. Nathan raises an eyebrow at me.

"You really have to teach me that sometime," he tells me with a little laugh.

"Maybe, though it is pretty funny to see you so confused," I laugh, sipping at my own drink. He chuckles slightly, shaking his head at me. His magic and mine cuddle up together, a happy buzz running from the both of them as they embrace each other.

I hear footsteps and whip around to see Liam walking in, eyeing the two of us before laughing to himself, walking over and pulling up a chair. "So... how's the lover birds?" he asks cheekily, waggling his eyebrows at us. I playfully punch his arm with a fake scowl on my face.

"Least I'm not still single."

"Oh, I won't be single for long, I'm just finding the right guy."

"And by finding the right guy, you mean sitting on your ass and playing Monopoly with Gaby all day, right?" Nate chimes in with a smirk.

Liam rolls his eyes at Nathan, a playful smile on his lips, and puts his chair back where he got it, standing up and walking to the door. "Well, just wanted to make sure you two weren't mistaking each other's faces for food, see ya!"

Before I can chase him down, Nathan grabs my hand and leans closer to me. "We'll get him back later," he whispers in my ear, making me giggle as his breath tickles my jaw.

"I want to show you something," I reply quietly, tugging on his hand. He looks at me quizzically, but allows me to pull him to his feet. I wrap his arms around me and look deep into his bright green meadows of eyes. I cover them with my hands, blocking his vision. "Hold on tight."

I teleport the both of us to the ledge that I love to sit and think of, the one that looks over the whole of the Nether. He stumbles a bit but I steady him and lead him over to the edge, sitting him down so his legs swing over the side. "Jade, where the hell are we?"

"Literally hell, but you already knew that." I take my hands away from his eyes and he gasps at the sight.

"Holy crap, how did you- where are we?"

"My favourite spot," I reply almost wistfully as I gaze out at the lava oceans. They're beautiful in their own way.

"It's beautiful, probably second most pretty thing I've seen," he says.

"What's the first?" I ask confusedly.

"You," he replies cheesily. Blood rises in my cheeks and I playfully hit his arm as my magic gets all flustered.

"Get you and your boyfriend's ass down here, we're having a talk." Dad's voice comes through. I groan and roll my eyes, Nate raising an eyebrow.

"What is it?" he asks.

"Dad says we're having a talk, we need to go." I tell him. "Where are you guys?"

"Planning room, everyone is already here, so hurry up," Dad replies. What's up his goat?

"Okay, hold on, I'll take us," I tell Nate. He nods and hugs me, allowing my magic to wrap around the two of us, taking us to the planning room easily. We pop out in front of everyone, already sitting in chairs around the big oval table that takes up most of the room. Nathan leads me over to two chairs beside each other. He sits me down beside him, our hands interlocking as a nervous energy seems to come over everyone's magic in the room, but Gaby and Liam seem unaffected, Steve and Tara also looking incredibly uncomfortable. Steve can feel everyone else's magic, and Tara probably can feel Karn's.
