Caught my eye : shawn mendes

Best day!!

Mom POV:
I woke up Amaris like at about 8:30
'Mija wake up. It's time to get ready for the baby shower. '

'Ay mom I don't wanna go. I'm really tired!:('

'Come on Amaris lets just go' I said getting out of her room.

'You better be ready in an hour' I said one more time.

I was so excited that Amaris was going to get the great news and that she was going to be be able to see Shawn today! She's going to be super happy!(:

Amaris POV:
To tell u the truth I didn't want to go but when my mom says something that meens I have to do it.
I got up took a quick shower and put on my dress. When I put it on I looked at myself with it and I looked great!

I curled my hair with waves and put on some makeup.

I was ready in exactly one hour! That was the fastest I have ever gotten ready.

I headed downstairs and when my mom saw me her eyes widened and she said
'Wow Mija you look beautiful !:)'
'Thanks mom'

I texted heather to see if she wanted to come with us. we picked up heather and went on our way to the party hall.
When we got at the party hall there were no decorations. I was really confused. But there was a lot of food. Yummy!

Mom POV:
Hi Shawn you almost here?:)'
'Ya I'm like ten minutes away.'
'Ok'
A lot of our family members were showing up. All of them were in the secret so Amaris wouldn't find out.

Amaris POV:
A lot of my family members were showing up.
I went up to my mom
'Where aunt lina?'
'I think she's coming right now'
'Oh ok'

Shawn POV:
I couldn't wait to surprise Amaris. Every minute we were getting closer to the hall the more nervous I got.
Amaris mom told me to go through the back door so Amaris wouldn't see me.
When we got there all of the boys went with me backstage. We all wore tuxedos! I hope I looked good for Amaris.
There was a little stage in the hall. There was a curtain covering the stage so it hid me so I could set up to surprise Amaris.

Amaris POV:
Me and heather to sit down at a table cuz we were getting bored.
I texted Shawn 'hey shawn'

Shawn POV:
When I was setting up I got a text from Amaris.
'Hey Shawn '
'Hey beautiful !'
'Are you almost there at Washington?'
'Umm ya like 2 hours away'
'That's cool'
I had to stop texting Amaris cuz I was already ready to surprise Amaris
'Soory Amaris I have to go now because we are about to stop to eat at a restaurant. '
'Ok Shawn. Hope you enjoy your food:)'
'Thanks love you!'

Amaris POV:
After I finished texting Shawn I went to go get another chair for my mom to come sit next to me. When I was walking to get another chair I heard someone singing and it sounded like Shawn. In my mind I was just thinking it was my imagination. And then I heard someone that sounded like Shawn and it became louder🎶 'I don't wanna be famous I don't wanna if I can't be with you🎶 and then the curtain to the stage opened and it was Shawn!!! I put my hands over my face and started to tear up. I couldn't believe it was Shawn. !! I saw Shawn got up from his chair with his guitar and kept on singing the song while he came towards me. He came right in front of me as he finished the last lyrics and gave me BIG hug. His hug gave me a sense of peace and joy.
He gave me a big kiss! Everyone was like 'awwww'
I was still confused why Shawn was here
'Shawn I missed you soo much!'
'I missed you too !!'
'Come with me on stage really quick'
As we walked up there holding hands I was still wondering what's happening
he got the microphone and said 'I am super happy that I could see my beautiful, wonderful, and one of a kind girlfriend. Every day that I'm on tour Amaris is always on my mind. And I couldn't last a day without her. And I just wanted to tell Amaris that her mom is going to let her come with me and the boys on tour! '
Amaris looked shocked and jumped on me and hugged me really tight.
'I love you'
'I love you too!
"Amaris you couldn't imagine how much I missed you" Shawn said giving me a hug
