I woke up at around five o'clock in the morning. That was awful early for me, so I laid in bed for twenty minutes, hoping I could fall back to sleep. That was unsuccessful. I turned over to snuggle with Pony, but he wasn't there. He left kind of early. He usually waits until seven or so.

I got up and went into the living room. He was lying on the couch...crying.

"Pony, what's wrong?", I asked kind of nervous.

"It's just that, I almost lost you tonight. I'm scared that what if it happens again? Or if you hadn't forgiven me? I would be so lost without you.", he answered, staring up at the ceiling. His face was red, his eyes were puffy. I felt so bad for not getting the whole story back at the drive-in. When he told me all that happened last night, I felt so stupid. Now I've made him so worried he's crying.

"Pony, everything's ok. You'll never lose me. I promise.", I said making my way over to the couch. He sat up when I reached the couch. I sat down beside him and he laid back down. His head on my lap. I began to play with his hair. It was more of a dirty blonde, with dark roots.

"I just love you so much.", he said calming down some.

"I love you, too. More than words could ever explain.", I replied. I leaned down to kiss him...but at the same time he was sitting up to kiss me and we head butted each other. We laughed so hard it woke up Soda.

"What are y'all doing up this early?", he asked.

"Nothing, just abusing each other.", I answered, holding my most likely bruised head. Soda laughed and shook his head as he went back to bed.

Ponyboy got up to get some chocolate milk. I laid down on the couch and started laughing.

"What?", Pony asked, standing with the refrigerator door open.

"I stole your spot.", I answered in a flirty voice. He put down his glass and wiped the chocolate milk mustache off of his lip and walked towards me.

"And I stole your heart.", He replied plopping down on my legs. I was starting to blush. He sighed and laid on me, facing up at the ceiling. I wrapped my arms around his waist.

"Nice ceiling.", I complimented. I chuckled a small chuckle.

"Thanks. Darry works hard fixing it.", he replied. My eyes started to feel heavy. I was getting so tired.

"Pony, if I fall asleep...", that's all I said because I went out. When I woke up again I had Two-Bit poking my face.

"What do you want?", I asked.

"You to wake up. Everyone done went to work. I'm gonna sit here with you, Pony, and Johnny.", Two-Bit answered.

"This should be fun. Have you seen Dally?", I asked, still in a sleepily voice.

"He's over at the DX bothering Soda and Steve.", Two-Bit answered. He was drinking a beer with a chocolate cake sitting beside him. He was chewing on a piece, when he got a lot all over his face.

"Hey, Two-Bit, you have a little something-", I said pointing around his mouth. Like the rest of the gang, Two-Bit is like my older brother. So, I didn't find it weird when he kissed my cheek and getting all of the chocolate on the side of my face.

Then, Johnny walked in. "Kyrie, there's something on your face."

"Really, Johnny? Gee, why don't you get me a napkin or something?", I asked sarcastically. He went inside of the kitchen and brought out a wet paper towel. I used it to get the chocolate cake off of my face and the rest off of Two-Bit's face.

"Where's Pony?", Johnny asked.

"Yeah, where is Pony?", I looked over at Two-Bit.

"Taking a shower. The waters running.", Two-Bit answered. I looked over at Johnny and smiled a devious smile. I got up and we raced to turn the water off to make Pony think something was wrong.

"What happened to the water?", Pony asked. Johnny and I was hiding and I guess our giggling gave us away. He come into Darry's room, where we were hiding, in only a green towel.

"I knew it had something to do with you two.", Pony said in a devilish tone of voice. He walked over and acted like he was holding me hostage.

"Pony! You're soaking wet! Learn how to dry off!", I yelled as my clothes were getting damp.

"I guess Johnny better hurry up and turn the water back on.", Pony said. I gave Johnny a puppy dog face. He hurried and cut the water back on.

"Now, will you let me go?", I asked.

"On one condition.", Pony answered.

"Which is?", I asked expecting more of an answer.

"You have to kiss me. Not one of those quick get it over with because my clothes are wet now kind either.", Pony said.

"Let me face you then.", I replied. Making sure I kept my word, he spun me around. I smiled and leaned in. His hands were on my waist and mine were cupping his face. I felt his tongue asking for an entrance into my mouth, and I certainly granted that entrance. After a minute...maybe two, with each other's tongue in each other's throats, I broke the kiss.

"Might wanna go finish taking that shower, if you need me, I'll be at my house with Johnny and Two-Bit. Bring a blade.", I explained. He smiled and held my hands for a minute before going back into the shower.

I looked kind of stupid walking on a side walk in pajamas, that were soaked. I practically ran into the house, leaving Johnny and Two-Bit behind me.

"Could you be more quitter? I have a hang over.", Dally asked. He was laying on the couch with his hand over his eyes. I leaned over the couch and kissed his hand. Then, I went to my room and changed.

Today, I was wearing some dark denim jeans that were high waisted. A black t-shirt, and a leather jacket. I rolled up my pant legs a couple of times and slid on some white chucks. I left my hair down and poofed my bangs. To top it off, I put a white bandana around my head like a headband. I always wear a bandana in my hair, so what's new?

I stepped out into the bright sunlight from the darkness of my bedroom and had only two things on my mind: Ponyboy Curtis and food.

"Dally, want some Dairy Queen?", I whispered sarcastically.

"No.", He said going to sleep. I chuckled and stepped out onto the porch and saw Two-Bit, Johnny, and Pony.

"Well, let's go to Dairy Queen.", I insisted.

Hahaha see what I did there with the whole "When I stepped into the bright sunlight..."? I'm genius! Lol Not really, I'm lame. Enjoy and just know, I wrote this for Johnny. Stay Gold!
