A week had past. My mum had left for an important job for about two days. She literally told me about how important my safety is, about a billion times before she left.
But now, I'm on my own. In the house. Finally. She only leaves if the job is seriously important. Which is rare. It's like a privilege that she leaves. Harsh but it's the truth. The truth hurts. (A/N #GraceNya)
I went to school after Mum left. I had 5 periods to get through. Consisting of Science, Maths, English, Art and PE.
Science is easy. Maths is my fave and English is my core. I wright stories nearly everyday, describing about my life and how I feel about it. PE is annoying. But it's easy. We always leave our PE clothes on if it's the last period. Luckily it was for me and it's cool that the kit looks mostly like normal clothes. So I do look like a civilized person when in a PE kit at least.
But, the day ended swiftly. I was plodding back home with my coat, zipped up tightly. It was freezing. I overtook a group of boys. I kept my head down and passed them. Trying to cover up my skin as much as possible. I took more steps until my foot skidded on ice on the pavement. I fell with a thump on the ground. I heard laughter behind me and my face went bright red. Footsteps creeped closer to me. I was disorientated and didn't know what was going on. A pair of hands gripped onto my arms.
'Are you okay?' A voice asked. A very endearing voice.
'Yeah.' I mumbled, getting up. My fingers dusted off the ice on my coat. I looked up at the person who helped me and I froze. His eyes were a dark shade of green. His brown hair was messy. He was plugged into music. The boy who smiled.
