Gender bend

Ok so this is still angst like bomb is planted the right foot of Voltron aka the blue lion and it goes off while they are in voltron while they are training so thats the base of it but I just wanna do a gender bend. Hunks name is a name of one of my fifth grade friends from Hawaii so...and they have been in space for 3 years. And smut kind of. We'll say 14 and older.

Also holy heck so this was just supposed to be a short little one shot filler but it turned out to be almost 2,000 words so. Enjoy!

Everyone was celebrating for a job well done and no one being hurt in the mission. But Alanthos had other plans.
"Paladins," he spoke," you still will have training tomorrow, do you understand?"
"Awe come on you ruined the fun." Lanie pouted.
"He's right though we did have trouble getting into Voltron. That means we need to bond again it has been 5 months since we last did that." Shiori agreed with Alanthos.
"It is quite late Paladins perhaps you get some sleep?" Corea suggested.
They all groaned and walked of toward their rooms. Kathy grabbed Lanie's hand and ran off with her.
"Kathy what are you doing we have to sleep?"
"Noooooo not yet come here."
"What do you want?" Lanie said as she walked through Kathys door.
"I want to fuck you." Kathy said it with a straight face.
"Whoa whoa already its only been a year?"
"Yeah, most people fuck around this point."
"Ok here compromise, we can make-out get super horny give hickeys go to sleep and forget about it."
"Can I at least rub it through the material?"
"Your really calling my junk a it?"
"Yes?"
"Fine as long as I get to do it too."
"Deal."
Kathy pushed Lanie against the wall and started to make out with her. Lanie started to pull of Kathys shirt. Kathy did the same to Lanie's shirt. Lanie pushed Kathy onto the bed and straddled her while she took off her bra. You know where it goes from there.
The alarms beeped twice symbolizing breakfast. Lanie woke up and turned over to Kathy. Kathy was naked and Lanie thought for a moment, her eyes went wide and looked down and she was naked too.
"Shhhiiiiiiittt..." she groaned.
"Mmm Lanie."
"Kathy I thought we would rub through the material not go all the way!"
"You were the one who started it."
"What do you mean Kathy?"
"Well we started to rub and you grabbed my hand and put it down there and bam we-"
"Ok ok! Good enough explanation. But why am I covered in bite marks and hickeys we agreed on a couple not all of my thighs and boobs."
"Well you know me. Now come one we have to get to breakfast." They got dressed and made their way to breakfast.
"Morning Paladins! Training will be inside the lions trying to get quicker and quicker in forming Voltron! Get in your suits after breakfast and head to your lions!" Alanthos was always energetic it was odd since he seemed to be never tired. Everyone was eating quietly and when they were done they went to get in their armor they all met outside the castle and got in formation, and formed Voltron.
"Can we try it a wee bit quicker it was a little slow?" Corea asked
"Sure thing! Paladins form Voltron!" And they formed it a little quicker.
"Just a wee but more Shiori?"
"Got it!" They got in formation and it formed and when it formed it immediately broke apart when an explosion happened.
"Ngh...is everyone ok? Where did the explosion come from?
"I'm good maybe a concussion? It was near the bottom." Pidge stated
"Reva, Lanie? Are you good?"
"Shiori the coms might be down on their end?"
"I'm fine... yellow half of her is gone and I have a broken arm maybe foot."
"So it came from Lanie......"
"Lanie can you hear us?"
"Lanie?"
Pov change: Lanie
"Lanie———-ear us?"
What are they saying?
"Anie?"
"Lanie————us."
What are they saying?
"help......"
"Wheres——ue?"
"Found——r!"
"———ken"
"h-help......"
"Lan———ou"
Everything goes black.
Pov change: 3rd
"Blue is completely broken..." Pidge seemed to be shocked
"Its worse then yellows damage..." Shiori was making a plan as she spoke
"Is she dead?" That was Reva in her worried state
"Corea get 2 pods ready." That was Shiori again
"On it number one!" Corea shouted into the speaker
"Kathy help get the still intact blue I'll get the shrapnel." How did Shiori all ready have a plan
"On it." Kathy sounded out of it
Kathy grabs the remaining blue and pushes it inside and then she lands red. She runs over to blue kinda sees blood. She runs in and finds Lanie on the ground with a large shrapnel stuck in her side. He saw Reva and yellow get pushed in by Pidge and his lion half of it was missing. She really didn't care at this point she had to get the shrapnel out of Lanie.
"I am so so sorry if this hurts really bad."
Though Lanie was unconscious when Kathy pulled the shrapnel out she yelped in pain. Kathy picked her up and started to run to the med bay passing Pidge and Reva on the way leaving a trail of blood. When they got Lanie in the pod Reva and Pidge just got there. Kathy fell to the ground.
Pove change:Kathy
We were so care free last night how could this have happened? Why wasn't it me? What if she dies? This is all my fault....
"Kathy? Are you ok? Do you need a pod too?" Corea has sadness in her voice
"No." Kathy still sounds out of it
"Ok at least get cleaned up Kathy your covered in blood." She was starting to sound like a mom
"I'll do it later Corea." Kathy sounded annoyed
Why did I let this happen....it should have been me.
Pov back to 3rd
It had been a day and Reva was already out of their pod. Kathy still hadn't changed from her paladin armor. Shiori walked in and saw her sleep next to Lanie's pod.
"Kathy, you need to get out of the armor." Shiori had sympathy in her voice
"But what is Lanie gets out of the pod?" Kathy looked up at Shiori
"She won't be out for another 3 days you're fine to go change. I will watch to be safe."
"Ok..."
"And shower!" Shiori yelled as Kathy left
"I will!" She said while walking out of the med bay
"Oh Lanie,"Shiori started to sit dow,"if only we knew the bomb was planted"

It had been 3 more days and Kathy had ate nothing. It would be any minute that Lanie would get out and Kathy could hug Lanie, and talk to her, even just to look at her. The pod opened and Lanie fell out and was caught by Kathy.
"Lanie are you ok?"
"Why was I in a pod?" Lanie sounded tired
"An explosion."
"How long was I in there?"
"About 4 days."
"Hm? Not bad?" She seemed impressed that it was only 4 days.
"I'm so glad you're alive..."Kathy spoke as she hugged her"
"Kathy wake up."
"What?"
"Kathy come on wake up."
Kathys bursted awake to see Shiori.
"Hey Kathy sorry if I startled you, Lanie will be out in 2 days meaning, you need to eat." Her voice was stern nearing the end of the sentence.
"Not hungry." Kathy yawned
"Don't care. You need to eat its been 4 days."
"I can't risk not being their for Lanie."
"What is I bring it to you?"
"Sure...don't put anything in it either."
"Ok." And with that Shiori walked off. She left Kathy to think.

"Kathy its been a week just accept the fact shes dead." Pidge spoke while walking out of the pod room.
"She is not! I know it with my heart! That she is not dead!"
Kathy walked over to the pod and looked at Lanie.
"Lanie it says your healed why can't you just come out what is keeping you in there?"
The pod opened for real this time and Lanie fell out.
"Lanie?"
Lanie said nothing and her eyes were still closed.
"Lanie come on? Wake up."
Still no response from Lanie.
"SHIORI!" Kathy screamed since she was in another room
Shiori came running in to see a frantic Kathy and a unresponsive Lanie.
"Kathy what happened!"
"She came out of the pod and she won't respond!"
Shiori kneeled down to find a pulse.
"Well I feel a pulse so she may not actually be healed all the way. Bring here to her room or yours which ever ones closer."
"On it."
She picked up Lanie and jogged to her room. She laid Lanie down in her bed and sat down in a near by chair. A coma seriously is everything trying to turn against Kathy?
"Lanie all I need from you is to wake up."
Of course their was no response. They put in a food tube and found and IV like thing but Altean it had the same properties. They hooked Lanie up on that too. Kathy was now always in Lanies room she was never out of it. And she still never ate.
"Lanie, come on please I just need you to wake up its been 3 weeks please. Reva feels bad because she only had a broken arm and foot and you're in a coma. Come on please. For me, and the team."
Kathy grabbed Lanie's had and Lanie grabbed back.
"Please I know you have it in you."
"kathy..."
"Lanie?"
"kathy..."
"You're alive!"
"i'm alive..."
"Let me go get the others!"
She walked out of the doors and called the others.
"Oh Lanie I never gave up hope I was right next to you the entire time."
"awe adorable..."
"Kathy? Can we come in?"
"Yep you can come in."
In waled Reva Shiori and Pidge.
Lanie tiredly waved a hand at them. Reva came up first.
"Oh Lanie I felt iso bad! I only had a broken arm and foot and then you slipped into a coma."
"its fine thats just how my body reacted..."
Then Shiori.
"Glad to have you awake kiddo, don't know what we would have done with out you."
"thanks shiori..."
Then Pidge.
"By my calculations you should have died but you survived and I'm goad for that."
"thanks...i think..."
"Lanie, get some rest I'll be right next to you ok?"
"ok..."
And Lanie drifted off into sleep. Kathy was supper happy that Lanie was alive. Lanie felt odd. She thought after she learned of what happened that she would have died. But she defied the odds.
