Lance laid in bed trying to fall asleep . It's been three days since they've defeated the Galra. He couldn't sleep. He kept thinking about what went wrong and what he could have done to prevent it. He felt bad. He knew that his he didn't kill or hurt them that they would kill or hurt him. He curled up into a tighter ball. He could wake his sister up. Veronica was just able to get everyone to allow her to watch over Lance. Oh boy how his mom complained saying that Veronica didn't bring him into this world. Eventually she gave up and let Veto watch him, since she knew the inns and outs of this place. Lance took deep breaths trying to control his breathing. Tears slowly dropped down off of his face. He sniffled as quietly as he could. He couldn't hold back a sob that escaped from his lips. Veronica must have heard this because she woke up. Lance tried to hold more sobs in. Lance felt a hand on his shoulder. He flinched at the feeling and looked up to see a concerned Veronica.
"¿Qué pasa? ¿Tuviste una pesadilla?
"No, no, no es una pesadilla."
"¿Entonces que es eso?"
"I-I was just thinking of what we had to do to survive."
"What do you mean?"
"I had to kill people. I had to watch people die I had to watch young children cry out to their dead parents. I got shot, I got stabbed, I died. I watch my friends get shot and stabbed and one of them also die. I was kidnapped by the enemy and tortured till my wits end. I was a self sacrificing person to all my friend and what does it get me. It gives me a mental disorder! I thought I'd be fine! I wished that I would have never been shot into space! I wish I had never applied to the Garrison! I wish I have never done anything! It could have saved me from this fate!"
"Lance ... mi hermanito, odio verte así. Pero sucedió todo por una razón. If you weren't shot into space you would have never been where you are today! Voltron would have never happened and this planet would have been destroyed with many others. Katie would have never found he dad or brother. You did good. You did everything right." Veronica grasped him close. Lance cried into it. Lance knew Veronica was right, but he still felt the Ringe of, why didn't he not run out.

A small story but a cute one.
