We load up quickly, as needing to get this done fast. Hank walks over to Naya, probably to tell her good job. He hands her a 42 caliber gun an she laughs.
"No need, Sergeant," she starts, reaching swiftly into her belt, pulling out a huge gun.
"I brought my own.""Of course you did," he laughs. She smiles at him and walks over to me. She puts a hand on my shoulder and I look over to her.
"We're going to get her back, Erin." She says and I nod.
"If I have to murder that smug William Johnson, I'll do it," she laughs.
"If that is what it takes to get Jane back, then I will do it.""I know you would," I say with a smirk and she nods towards the door.
"Shall we?"
"Lets go save another one." She smiles and we head out.
She usually sits in with me and Jay when we bring her out into the field, which is often. And when things get crazy, I even let her drive, which always makes Jay angry. He turns to look at me.
"You really think that they have another girl?" I look over, meeting his eyes then looking back to the road.
"I do, I think we missed her the first time." I smile.
"Plus, the smartest girl I know came up with the idea, what could go wrong?" She looks up from the backseat and smiles at me through the rear view mirror."Flattered," she chuckles, then looks back down at her phone.
"What are you up to, kid?" I ask and she looks up again.
"I am trying to hack into FBI security cameras to check on Brooke," she mumbles, then looks back down and smiles.
"We're in," I pull over quickly and Jay gives me a look."What are you-?" I unbuckle my seatbelt.
"Drive." He stares a moment, not believing the words.
"What?" I roll my eyes.
"Drive, ya dork." I climb to the backseat and sit next to Naya, looking down at her phone. Sure enough, there she is. Cowering in the corner of a room on the floor.
"There's no reason to be afraid," a voice that we can't see the body of but it's obvious who it is. William Johnson.
"Get real comfy, Brooklyn. You're not leaving any time soon." She looks up slowly."You're wrong. They're gonna find something." There's a loud thunk and she jumps in fright, he must've hit the wall.
"Those clowns down at the 21st won't find anything on your case,Whereas the FBI could get you home in three weeks, tops." He chuckles.
"You don't really think they give a shit about you down there, do you?" I press my lips together. I want so badly just to hit him. She narrows her eyes."Yes, I do." He laughs.
"Well, you're wrong. Your miss Erin Lindsay doesn't give a tiny rat's ass about you." She violently shakes her head.
"That's a lie, that's a lie!" She yells and it reverberates off the walls.
"She cares, and so does Naya-""That stupid Israeli?" He scoffs and I look over to her. I expected an angry glare, but her lips are turned upwards in a small smile, one eyebrow arched.
"She couldn't protect you if your life depended on it. You know what she is, don't you? A fake. A fraud. She's not even part of the CPD." She shrugs.
