I shake my head slightly, my brain not processing her request.
"I don't understand, what?"
"I need you to kill her, Nava, I need you to kill Brooke." I squeeze my eyes shut, trying to understand.
"What did she do-?"
"God sakes, Nava, just do it!" I stand up off the couch and walk towards her room. The floor creaks below me as I make my way over. I lay a hand on the handle of the door, taking a moment before I open it.
"Please don't make me do this," I whisper out loud, praying that she would change her mind.
"She's hurting me, Nava, do you not care about me anymore?"
"Of course I do," I shake my head, trying to find my words,
"You mean the world to me, Naomi, I just don't understand-""She helped him kill me." She interrupts and my expression falls. My body tenses up and my hand finds the handle again.
"A life for a life." She says in a whisper and I nod my head, turning the handle and pushing the door open. She lays in bed, sleeping peacefully. I walk over to the side of her bed, looking over her sleeping body.
"You know what to do."
B R O O K E
I'm woken up by the feeling of someone staring at me. My eyes flutter open and I can feel their eyes on the skin. My heart races, and I'm too scared to turn around. I look over to the other side of the bed - no Noah. She must be with Erin. Damnit.
I take a deep breath before rolling over and looking up. I tall shadow towers over me, huge and muscular, and I almost scream before my eyes focus. I let out out a deep breath, and a quiet laugh.
Thank God it's just her.
"Naya, you scared the hell out of me," I place my hand over my heart, which is still beating fast, as I look up to her. But something seems different. She doesn't seem as motherly as usual. I tilt my head to the side, noticing a few things that seem out of the ordinary about her appearance. I sit up a little farther in my bed.
"Naya?" I ask, yet she doesn't move. She just stands there, looking down at me. She whispers something, yet it's definitely not in English.
"Naya," I chuckle.
"Stop playing around, it's like four in the morning." Still no movement. I reach up to grab her hand.
"C'mon, let's just go-" her hand flies up to my throat, grabbing it tightly.
"Naya, woah!" I choke out, gasping for air as she tightens her grip. I grab at her hands with mine, trying to pry them off."I know what you did," she growls at me before throwing me back onto the bed. I breathe in deeply before backing away from her.
"Naya, please wake up," I say at full volume. This has to be one of those uncontrollable dreams Jay was talking about, and I've got to break her out of it.
"I know what you did!" She says louder, pouncing at me on the bed. She throws her body onto mine, grabbing me by the cloth of my sleep shirt.
"What did I do?" I ask, calmly and quietly, before she groans and picks me up, throwing me over to the wall. I land on the floor with a thud and prop myself up quickly, yet not quickly enough. She hurries over and picks me up, pulling at me by my hair.
"Ow, Naya Stop! You're hurting me!" I yell out, but she just takes my body and slams it up against the wall.
"No!" I yell as I hit the surface, a shot of pain traveling down my spine.
"Please!" I plead, hoping to God that somehow she'll hear me. She's extremely strong, she could kill me.
