"Seth," I start in a calm voice.
"I need you to let her go." He shakes his head with a smile on his face.

"You just don't get it do you?" He pulls her closer to him and she whimpers.
"You think I'm going to just give her back?" He scoffs.
"You're even dumber than we thought." More officers pour into the room, but there's one person I've yet to see.

Where the hell is Naya?

"Drop the gun, Seth." Jay says and he frowns.

"But what fun would that be? No, I was thinking we could play a game. Here are the rules. You let me leave, and I don't kill little Brooklyn here, yeah?" I shake my head.

"No Seth, that's not quite how we play things around here-"

"Well the ball doesn't seem to be in your court now does it detective?" I take a deep breath as he digs the gun harder into her temple.

"Seth, you really don't want to take her."

"Oh, and why is that?"

"Because she's of no use to you anymore. She doesn't know who the hell you are." His face drops.

I knew it.

He doesn't know.

"Ask her, she doesn't have a damn clue." He looks down at her and she flinches away.

"That's not true, Brooklyn, tell them that's not true!" He yells and she tightly shuts her eyes.

She's doing surprisingly well.

She seems to be calmer than I am.

She lets out a deep breath and shakes her head.

"I-I'm sorry, I don't know you... I don't, I'm sorry-"

"Liar!" He yells right into her face and she quietly cries out.

"I don't remember anything, I don't, I swear-"

"Stop lying, you whore-"

"I don't!" She yells and he tightens his grip on her body.

"You don't speak to me like that, you hear me?" He quite literally growls at her.
"I own you. You pathetic piece of shit-"

She turns her head and spits in his face. My stomach flips.

That couldn't of been a good idea...

"Bitch!" He yells and smacks her in the face with the gun. She barely reacts.

He grabs her by her cheeks, digging his fingernails into her skin and harshly turns her head towards me and Jay and the rest of the team who's now all in the room, standing on guard.

"Now, unless you want this sweet little, innocent face with a bullet through her forehead," she closes her eyes and shakes her head.
"Drop your weapons." I sigh and lower my gun, jay does the same.
"Now, that we're at a mutual agreement I think I'll just take her and-"
