In the world of dreams

Where you visit so often

Almost every night

As the darkness gives way to sleep

You may find your self anywhere

For your dreams will swirl and glow to bring to you a fabulous tale

That you will proceed to forget at the morning light

It was a wonderful story if only I could remember how it went

Alas I will have another tonight

So fleeting yet unforgettable in many a way

For in these dreams hide bits of truth here and there

Tho, of course, why would you care

For you are caught up in the moment of it all

Whether it may be as real as you and me

Or perhaps as mystical as a fairy tail

Each dream holds part of us in it

Our life as it is

Or parts of our childhood all in a blur

It matters not to me for to me, a dream is a marvelous story

That will forever be told but never remembered.

With a mystery and wonder as its spine
