Your life isn't over

Your life means something to me

So don't jump

Just because it's night doesn't mean your life gets any darker

I know so many who have gone through

The same things that you do

They are still alive today

So please don't say

That your life doesn't mean anything

I can prove you wrong

Reach out to me

Let your heart move to the joys that life can bring

Please lean on me

We can limp through this life together

There is something you are missing

So don't jump and think you are the only one who cares

You hold the ability to bring everyone to tears

Do you really think that things will be better when you're gone?

I've been left behind before

I've seen people sobbing

There eyes full of depression and pain

Unlike mine that showed only hate

If you want me to pity your sad state

I may have a hard time overcoming the fact

That you were so selfish of late

You aren't the only one affected

I'm sure that's not what you expected

But it's true

If you leave now

So soon

I don't know if I can say I will miss you

If you guys couldn't guess this is a poem about suicide. Here is something you may not know if one person commits suicide often times more people do too. Suicide is a selfish and terrible thing for you to do to other people around you. Because you are only thinking about how you feel. Other people care about you and when you leave they are going to blame themselves for not being unable to save you.
