When I look at you I see,
Your past,
Your present.
And your future,
Your regrets and your pain,
Your hurts and your shame,
But you have My Name so there is no pain you can't overcome.
For I am your Father and even when you disobey
I love you the same.
Even though it causes Me pain.
Though you go astray you still have My Name.
Though you could never love as I do.
I still wish you would try,
To strive to be more like Your Father.
So that when you die,
I will be glorified!
I wouldn't forgive myself because I mess up so many times. It is good to know I have a God who does. He even lets me call him Father and when I think about that I can't help but smile.
