Who am I beneath this facade?
Do they know?
Underneath this mask, there is a heart begging you to understand

Jeering at me from inside
No, you won't know
For though you may try to pry off my cover for your own pleasure
I will keep you at bay
My mysteries and true smile are for those who are worthwhile
And you have proven to be a grievous mistake of my time
To even let my guard down
Would prove disastrous to my already cluttered mind
My shield,
My sword,
My mask,
I keep it for people like you
