As if we didn't know
Each other's secrets and our friendship was aglow
But now I'm watching you grow
And I'm behind your race
You're the one who set the pace
And now I'm losing the chase
I don't know when your dreams stopped involving me
But I wish you could see
How I've been there for you even if but your mind disagrees
Because I never existed in your reality.
