Saying Bye

Is one of the hardest things anyone can do

Though perhaps some may be glad to do so

For a mother in law may not be missed

Or perhaps a cranky neighbor

Never the less I find it almost unbearable

The air around me feels tight

Tears threaten to fall

Yet in the end, you can hopefully say "See you later."

I have said "Goodbye." to so many, that I fear I may never see again

Though I try to deceive myself in saying"They will be back."

Sadly we may not meet like we did back then.

Caution my friends, never say goodbye

Stay close

For the world is a torrent of evil change

That can deviate many souls

From there current state

Then you really must say "So long."

For it is as if they never knew you

Take heart, there are far more connections to be made

And many souls who refuse to change
