Forever I will watch your frame
Forever I will see your face
Forever I will hold your hand

For you, my love, I watched grow old
But your eyes have long been unseeing

Your hair once as soft as a feather is now as frayed as rope's last bonds
Your body once delicate and warm to the touch has long since become cold as a stone
Your husk is left next to me but I will still as always rest by your side
For forever my love, you shall always be mine.
