Every time you're in pain you act the same
Every time you're filled with hate you act the same
You tell me how broken you are
You remind me every day
I never said I didn't believe you
Every time you treat me the same
Why do I have to be in pain?
You weren't always this way
All you do is drink until you can't stand
How does a bottle change who you are on the inside?
You say that you are a victim
But what does that make me?
When I am with others your presence lingers still
A gray mist covers your body and your mind
Clouding me out
You say that you care about me
But your bottle says something different
This is a poem about a little girl who's Father says he cares about her. This is based on a video I watched the other day. It is sad to say that too many other people feel this way.
