Chapter 3

"Hey, uhm are you okay?" I ask internally cringing at the fact I couldn't make it more obvious that I was feeling uncomfortable.

He suddenly turns to me with his eyes the size of tennis balls. Hard to admit that the guy that was an asshole to me before looks kind of cute right now.

"I just want to apologise for being a dick before. I get that it wasn't your fault. That no way to treat someone that is new, or anyone in general really," Shawn responds, speaking very fast.

I guess he isn't an asshole.

"Its okay, I get it, sometimes we have those days," I smile at him. He grins back at me.

"Oh I'm Shawn by the way," he says as he extends his hand for me to shake.

"I'm Cassandra, and I know" I reply as I shake his hand. As soon as the words 'and I know' left my mouth he became really tensed and looked...angry?

Okay I do admit that does sound kind of creepy. He must think I'm some crazy stalker.

He cleared his throat and abruptly stands up to move to a new seat. As soon as he sits down he quickly looks back at me and glares before quickly paying attention the teacher that walks into the classroom.

That was rude...what did I do? Well at least I was correct before, he is an asshole.

I turn to look at the front of the class when I realise the amount of people staring at me. I awkwardly clear my throat, they take this as a sign to pay attention to what the teacher was saying.

That was weird.

At the corner of my eye I see a girl that is glaring at me. She has long straight black hair that reaches up to her lower back. She is wearing long black ripped jeans that look way to tight. She matched the pants with a long sleeved pink shirt with the neck line way to low.

I give her a quizzingly look. She responds with a huff and crossing her arms before looking at the front of the class.

The students at this school is so weird.

Before I know it the bell rings for lunch. Lunch. My favourite time of the day.

I quickly stand up to collect my books and pens to stuff them in my backpack. I rush to my locker to get my books for the next few periods.

I stand in the lunch line to buy some lunch. Once I've collected my lunch I make my way outside to sit under a tree. I get lost in thought whilst thinking of everything that has happened in the last few days.

I'm snapped out of my thoughts when someone waves their hand in front of my face.

"Hey"
