I stop and turn around, I raise my eyebrow waiting for her to continue. Shawn, Josh and Jess all look at each other and nod. Shawn waves his arm indicating me to sit back down. I sit down on the swing and wait for them to explain.

"Please just listen to what we have to say before running off. This was really in our best interest to you," Shawn begs.

I nod, "I'll listen."

"The day after we dropped you off at your house, someone messaged me saying they'll expose your secret if I don't stay away. Initially I thought it was you pranking me because I don't give anyone my number," Shawn says.

"Josh and I were contacted as well. I'm not sure what we initially thought but I believe we were confused. You didn't tell us any secrets, yet," Jess says softly.

"I got another message from the number, it said we have to meet up at a nearby Starbucks. Jess and Josh got the same thing. So the day after I went to Starbucks, when I saw Jess and Josh I thought they pranked me. I was beyond confused," Shawn explains.

"Visa verca, we thought Shawn was behind it. This stranger that we've bever seen before called us over. She said her name was Cathrine," Jess says confused.

"Cathrine," I hiss, "what did she say?"

"She told us everything. From your best friend, to your brother, to his girlfriend, to him getting kicked out, to the bullying, to you trying to kill Cathrine. Of course we don't believe that part, you're the nicest person I've met. She told us how your parents kicked you out and you moved with your brother. We're not completely sure if all of that is true, but just incase it was we kept quiet. If she was going to spread your secret and make you move again we don't want to be part of it. Cass, you're our best friend. Even thought we've only known you for a short while, we do really love you. We thought doing as she says will keep you here, keep you safe but it hurt you instead. Trust me Cass, it hurt us aswell," Jess says, by the end of the explanation she was crying. I was aswell.

"Everything she said was true. Luke; my best friend always protected me from her. When he died it got worse. One day I just lost it. I'm not completely sure what happened. I remember her saying bad stuff about him and the next moment I was being pulled off of her. She was unconscious. She was fine after that, I wasn't. I got suspended and my parents kicked me out. After Luke I didn't really want to make friends. Nothing compares to him. I believed my whole world turned bad because of change, the loss of Luke. He was my rock. I honestly do love you guys too, I really care about you. I was just getting used to the idea of my small happy family, and my three best friends. You guys really hurt me, but I get why. You were trying to protect me. I would really like it if we could all be friends again, no more ignoring," I ask crying.

All three of them join me in a group hug, "Of course we will, Cass we love you," Josh says. This is the first time I hear him say something.

"What are we going to do about Cathrine?", Jess asks.
