Change

Chapter 14

I just smile and act like nothing happened. "Oh my gosh, is that Cameron Dallas?", Jess squeals whilst pointing at someone.

I turn around to look at who she is pointing. He has brown hair tan skin and is wearing black skinny jeans with a light blue dress shirt. "Who is he?", I ask as I turn back to Jess.

"I am Cameron, Shawns friend," I hear a unfamiliar voice reply. I turn to my left and see Cameron, gosh he is even more handsome up close. He doesn't compare to Shawn... WHY AM I EVEN THINKING THAT.

I blush as I realise that I've been staring. I look to my front and see Jess smirking at me in which I just reply with a eye roll. "Do you guys want to go get some drinks?", Shawn asks. Everyone hums in agreement.

We all follow Shawn to the kitchen where the drinks are being served. For the first hour we all just chilled out and kept the drinking to a minimum.

In the corner of my eye I see Shawn making out with the same girl as before. I turn around and look at the floor sadly. Gosh I don't even know how I like him. I DON'T LIKE HIM. Why would I say that. I don't like him. End of conversation. I hardly even know the guy.

"You okay?," Cameron asks looking down at me. I look up at him and smile.

"Im fine," I lie. "Want to go dance. Jess and Josh left to go dance already," Cameron asks.

"Yea sure," I grab his hand and pull him to the dance floor not wanting to see Shawn and whoever the girl was.

I pull Cameron towards the middle of the dance floor and start shaking my hips to the beat. Cameron soon joins and laughs with me as he spins me around.

After about 30 minutes I've completely forgot about Shawn. Cameron is actually a really good guy and we talked for the rest of the night.

We are now currently sitting on the couch facing each other. "Hey Cass?", Josh  says snapping me out of my thoughts. When did they get here? I guess I was to busy thinking to realise Josh and Jess sit next with us. "Yep," I reply popping the 'p'. "Can I talk to you privately?", he whispers, " its about Shawn". "Oh yea, uh sure," I reply before turning towards Cameron. " I'll be right back," I smile.

He just nods looking slightly confused. I follow Josh through the house down the stairs im guessing towards a basement. "What the hell is wrong with you guys?", Josh exclaims with his hands in the air.
