"Hi nice to meet you guys, I'm Cassandra," I introduce myself to his parents shyly.
"Nice to meet you too hunny, I'm Karen and this is Manny. In the back its Aaliyah," Mrs Mendes kindly introduces herself.
We get in the car and Shawn's dad explains that he'll get someone to tow the car back to their place.
"So what were you guys doing, going on a date?", Mrs Mendes's asks excitedly.
Shawn just laughs whilst I play with my fingers awkwardly, "No mom we were just hanging out as friends."
Mrs Mendes scoffs, " Friends okay, I sure believe you."
We just laugh.
"Hunny you should join us for dinner one day, I would love to get to know you better," Shawn's mum offers whilst I climb out the car.
"I would love that, Shawn just text me okay. Thank you for lift home, sorry about the whole car breaking down thing," I say.
Shawn gives me a hug, "Don't worry about it, I'll text you later okay?"
"Okay!", I yell as I run inside.
He never did text me.

Its been 3 weeks since the road trip and Shawn still hasn't texted me. He has made it his mission to avoid me at school and I'm sick of it. I genuinely thought that we had something going on. Jess and Josh has been ignoring me aswell, they've been sitting with Shawn and some girl. I've become their stranger.
It honestly hurts me so much, I've opened up to him and this is what happens. I knew I shouldn't have told him those things.
Other than that things have been going okay.
I finally talked to my mum, she got on a flight last night and will be here tomorrow.
I am extremely nervous and upset, which is not a good combination. Tomorrow can go either really good or really bad.
