Hey, I'm Jess, you're new right?", a girl that looks around my age asks. Jess if one of the most beautiful people I have seen. Jess has thick shoulder length, dark brown hair. She has unique dark brown eyes.
I nod and give her a smile "Yep, I'm Cassandra". "What are you doing sitting outside?" She asks.
I look around confused realising that nobody was outside. "Where is everyone else?", I ask. "Everyone sits inside to be close to the celebrity," she replies as she rolls her eyes and adds quotation marks around celebrity.
"Celebrity?", I ask.
"Wait, you don't know him? I swear I saw you talking to him in homeroom."
"Shawn? He is famous? I didn't know. What is he, like an actor?"
"Oh honey no, he makes 6 second videos of him singing on vine. He kind of blew up on there, since then he has been getting attention from everyone in school. Everyone wants to be close to him, but only some are. So sitting in the same room as him is like a gift from god," she replies whilst rolling her eyes.
"Gosh, I can't imagine how that would feel. Not knowing who's real and who isn't" I reply, slightly frowning at the thought.
"Girl!", Jess suddenly screams "I like you already, I can tell we are going to be great friends," she squeals.
"What?", I ask surprised.
"Well you are treating him like an actual human being! First clue to show me that you are real and not fake," she replies before giving me a surprise hug.
What is happening right now. I awkwardly pat her back. She stops hugging me and moves to sit next to me.
Within in second both of us burst out laughing. I guess we could be friends, she seems just as weird as me. I smile at the thought.
"So Cassy D, tell me about yourself," she says as she takes a bight of her lunch.
"Cassy D?," "Yea that your nickname! Now come on tell me about yourself!", she exclaims before I can even comment on the nickname.
"Well I moved here with my older brother. We used to live in Australia. I uh like to write stories I guess", I reply shyly.
"Australia? I cant really hear any accent.", she replies confused.
"Yea, I only lived in Australia for a year. I used to live in New York though," I reply with a smile.
"Oh okay, I guess your brother travels for his job?", she asks.
"Uhm I guess," I reply hesitantly.
"Oh okay, lots of hot guys there right?" She giggles.
"Talking about me?", I hear a male voice ask.
