Hai hai~
Sorry for this kinda late update - English tests are a pain in the ass, especially when your teacher gives you almost no time to revise for it.
I still have a few more to go ;w;
Anyway enjoy yer chapter~
Keith POV
Crap, I fell asleep. How long has it been since Lance got into the Blue Lion? I sat up, shaking away the dazed feeling. I noticed I had a pink blanket on top of me - that kept me warm in this cold hanger. Shiro, Allura and Pidge were still asleep, wrapped in their own blankets. Does that mean he came out already?
I shook the others awake, and they stirred slightly before slowly rising into a sort of sitting position.
"Wha- where's Lance? Is he out yet?" Allura asked, yawning.
"I think so. The particle barrier on blue is down and all three of them are nowhere to be seen." I pointed out.
I rubbed my eyes, I probably have big eye bags by now, and there's cramps all over my body. All thanks to Lance.
I probably should think like that - Lance has been through a lot, and I guess it was kind of our fault for invading his privacy, when clearly the bonding exercise should have been based on trust - not knowledge.
We still have a lot to learn about teamwork.
We all stood up and made our way to the control room, where the three of them were sitting and looking at Earth. Our planet
"-just miss them you know? We've been gone for so long, I'm worried about them. It wasn't just me who went through that - God knows what they're going to do when they find out I'm missing."
Lance sighed and both Hunk and Coran sat besides him, rubbing soothing circles into his back.
We entered the room and all three men stood up. I should rephrase that to one old man and 2 inexperienced teenagers left to fight a war that was never theirs.
They all stayed silent until Hunk elbowed Lance into the ribs and coughed.
"I, um, I wanted to apologize how I acted when you looked at my memories, and I should have been more mature instead of freaking out and-"
"Lance its okay. It was us who were wrong. We should have asked you instead of forcing you to participate." Shiro spoke.
"After all, trust is an important part of working as a team." I added.
Allura walked forward and cleared her throat.
"Lance, I have to apologize for treating you so harshly. I was being biased in terms of ability, but you are also important in forming Voltron, and you are just as important as the rest of the team. We all have a heavy burden on our shoulders, and you shouldn't be the one to carry it alone."
"Allura, I'm sorry - I know what you are saying, but I was being selfish - I'm not the only one with the burden on my shoulders. You guys are a part of Voltron too. I was being self centered."
A silence covered us all thickly, only to be sliced by Pidge seconds later.
"Are we all friends now?" Pidge asked, raising her eyebrow and smiling a little which got the rest of us to smile and laugh. The tension in the air dissipated.
Even Lance - it was a nice change from that wistful look on his face. He had huge eye bags and his face was a little sunken - it seems he hasn't slept for ages, and his movements are actually a little sluggish. I felt guilty for thinking that my cramps were his fault - we were probably the cause of his insomnia.
