Shiro's Point of View
I don't believe it - our lions just left on their own. How are we supposed to defend from an attack now? Where did they even go? We must follow them.
"Follow the lions - we need to know where they're headed." I commanded
"On it." Pidge replied. She typed at the keyboard on the castle console, along with Coran, looking at it very closely to concentrate.
"Aaaaand bingo! They're heading towards some Galra base on the side."
"But why?" Keith asked, raising his eyebrow.
"Lance." Hunk murmured to himself. "It's got to be Lance. I never doubted him once." His dull eyes regained their shine.
"We're not sure yet buddy, but I hope it is." I responded honestly. "Ok, we need to make sure that we regain control of the lions again. Each paladin needs to take control of their lions. Matt, will you control the blue lion?
"Naah, Allura is much better at piloting than I am. She should go."
"Okay team, let's go and regain our lions-"
"They're back." Coran said.
"Huh?" I was sure surprised when I heard that. "That was fast."
"Was it like their little walk or something?" Matt questioned. Pidge snorted in reply.
"Probably not, but we need to check on them. We'll all check our lions. If you find anything, report it back via comms.
Each paladin took their route to their lion's hangar as did I.
Black looked a little roughed up, but nothing major.
I walked inside and began to check the interior. Nothing seemed to be out of place. I activated the comms.
"Anything out of place?" I asked.
I heard a choruses of nos, but I heard a gasp from Allura.
"Allura, Matt! What's wron-" Pidge asked.
"There's a Galran soldier on the floor. He is unconscious and heavily wounded. Should we treat him?"
"Of course not." Pidge said, her tone like steel.
"I don't know, I mean it could be a good guy." Hunk spoke. "I think we should."
"And whilst you guys bicker, this guy's condition is getting worse, we have to treat him now before it's too late!" Allura shouted.
"Okay, keep him in a pod, but we'll have a look at his memories at the same time. The past couple of months should suffice. From that we'll determine if he's a good guy or not. Agreed."
Everyone agreed.
We all rushed out of our lions and helped move the body out from Blue, carrying him by his hands and legs all the way to the control room. Coran quickly got a pod ready, whilst he began to strip him from his clothing.
Horrible couldn't even begin to describe his wounds.
There was a huge gash on his shoulder and his chest seemed to be burnt. There was a gaping hole in his stomach and many cuts and bruises littered his arms and thighs. As for the bruises, they were endless.
The cuts seemed awfully familiar though.
"Okay lift him in one, two, three!" We pushed him into a standing position into the pod. Before the pod closed, Coran placed a mind melding machine upon his head, like a crown of thorns.
The memory viewing began.
I'm so sorry guys, I wasn't able to write enough for this chapter. I couldn't find a laptop in school for this >.<
Anyway, I left it at another cliffhanger.
What can I say? It's the Zarkon in me.
