Ello Ello Ello
Lance's Point of view.
After I visited Coran and told him about what I was doing, he agreed to help me get better. I am nothing but grateful, but I can't help but feel that I am taking advantage of everyone. I'm the only broken one here and I'm the only one struggling to cope in space. All of the anti-depressants Coran and Allura can produce don't help in any way, and I'm not sure if it's because I am a lost cause or because I am galran.
I walked towards the training room to get rid of some frustration. The double doors opened and I set the training level to 100. Yes, I am much better than I was before, and I'm pretty happy about that, at least I am a much better help to the team now than I was before.
I grabbed my Galran gun from my back pocket in preparation for the hundreds of bots that fell from the ceiling.
I let out a bunch of rounds that destroyed at least half of the bots. With my knife, I stabbed a few more that got a little close to me. I managed to pull through the first wave.
But just after the second wave began, the room began to spin, and everything seemed darker.
The bots continued to attack relentlessly, but I managed to take them down and stop the system, just before I collapsed onto the ground.
I just managed to get my breath back and the sudden dizziness that washed over me had vanished as if it never happened.
Okay. That was weird. But as long as it's vanished, I'm fine. Maybe I should be eating more than just a single plate of goop.
I got myself off the ground and walked to the room for another round of space goo, just as Pidge left the room, with a sneezing fit.
"You okay Pidge?"
"I don't know. I think I'm coming down with something. I can't- ACHOO! - stop sneezing." She sniffled, just before she let out a couple more sneezes.
"So a space cold then. Can you even get a cold in space?"
"I guess so. Wait I thought you already had breakfast, why are you back here?"
"To be honest, I don't think I'm feeling too good either. I got dizzy during training, and I don't think I've been eating enough in all honesty."
"Well eat more then. And maybe check up with Coran? I just did and he's analysing whatever I have right now."
"Sure. See ya later Pidgeon." I waved goodbye and went for another round of goop. I shovelled the green goodness into my mouth and had another plate and another until I couldn't eat anymore. I'm pretty sure that I would split open if I had another atom of the stuff.
After all of the food I ate, I felt a little sleepy. I needed a well deserved nap after the hard workout this morning too.
I headed over to my room and flopped onto my bed, just being able to hold my large body. I was unusually tired and my head began to ache too. Maybe I should see Coran?
I lied still for a couple more minutes to get my energy back before I heaved myself up from the bed and ventured off to find Coran Coran my gorgeous man. I headed straight for the med bay since that was where he usually was. I knocked on the door before it slid open.
"Hey, Coran! I need you to look at something!" I shouted out. I waited for a few moments before the man himself jumped out of a hidden hole in the wall, covered in bandages and other medical things.
"Oh Lance, my boy!" He looked completely ridiculous.
"What were you doing? You're a mess." I laughed, unable to keep in my laughter.
"Oh I was just looking for some extra medical supplies to make sure that we have enough in the lions! Well, what bring you here Lance?" He looked at me, expectantly, slightly confused.
"Coran, I'm not feeling too good right now and I'm not sure what it is."
I told him about how I was feeling unusually tired and I let him take my temperature as well as a few bottles of blood and a couple of scans." It didn't hurt to be thorough I guess.
"Lance, your vitals seem to be fine at the moment, the scans don't show anything. It'll take a while for your bloods to come back, but to me, you look a little tired and overworked, even for a Galra. Take a bit of time off, boy, and spend some time with Uncle Coran. I've felt a little lonely ever since you've taken to the training room like Keith."
I felt bad for leaving Coran alone these past few weeks, and I did agree to plant some more goop supplies with him for the rest of the day. Coran did some pretty seriously tedious work trying to keep us running in the background, and we talked endlessly about Corans and Allura's adventures in the past, when the Galra weren't a gigantic pain.
It was a nice change of pace.
Just as I planted another seed, edgy boy Keith ran in at lightning speed and flopped onto my back, the surprise causing me to fall forwards onto the soil.
"Hey handsome. What are you doing?"
"Planting with Coran. I've missed talking to Coran and I decided to spend some time with him today." I replied, lifting his body off me and placing him onto the ground.
Keith sneezed.
"Is there something wrong with everyone today? Pidge had been feeling a little off too, last time I checked." I asked.
"Wait Pidge too? I think there's something going around, last time I checked Matt and Allura were feeling the same way." Keith told me, thinking hard, making his eyebrow furrow cutely.
"Hey Coran, maybe we should run some tests on the rest of us too. Something isn't right, and we need to be in top form if we encounter the Galra soon."
Bad luck strikes again.
