The world seemed so strange in this timeline, everything appeared so untouched by the fel. Yet so close to falling apart, and here the war chief now stood, thirty five years back in the past helping the horde and saving them from the hand of corruption. From the dangerous corruption of these demons.
There was still time till they reach the fountain which can help them defeat the enemy, that is rumored to offer them great power.
Though everyone knew that if the power was great, then so was the price.
The war chief Garrosh walked around, thinking to himself, how strange it felt to stand just moments away from a fate that would completely change the future from just a decision of this moment.
A sudden noise of clashing blades came to his hearing, "who could start a needless fight now?" he muttered and looked at the direction of the sound.
The orc knew it was useless to stand here and play a guessing game of who could be fighting, when he could just go and see for himself what was wrong. So he did.
After looking around for moments in the forests, hearing carefully and following the sounds of the battle, he came across a small clearing in middle of the woods.
Garrosh stood near a tree and watched what was going on, he saw that three orc warriors were shouting at someone, he couldn't see who they were shouting at but hearing the orcish derogatory terms they called this mysterious person was angering him.
"Back off now, or you will regret this!" a female voice shouted, her accent like the draenei
"This woman has some guts if she can say that being outnumbered like that" the war chief almost laughed himself
"What if we don't? Huh?! Whatcha gonna do?!" an orc shouted even louder, angered by her statement and brandished his axe.
Seeing this, Garrosh realized that these orcs won't step down without a fight, and worse thing is that they are going to kill her.
Even though he knew that the draenei are from the rivaling faction, he couldn't help but feel bad for her, he decided to save her but would prefer keep this rescue a secret.
"Hey!" The war chief shouted as he stepped out from the shadows "what the hell is goin on here?!" he frowned as the orc warriors stepped aside, revealing that the woman was indeed a draenei.
"This thing, it arrived on our borders and our lands, we will kill it!" an orc stated
"Let her go" Garrosh demanded
"How can you say that?! This woman is from the alliance! We kill the pathetic alliance!" another orc warrior shouted.
The war chief angered, bared his teeth and took out his axe "I said, Let. Her. Go!" he shouted and approached them, his eyes burning with anger.
"Why do you want to help someone from the alliance?! Are you sympathetic for your enemy?!"
"That is weak!" all three orcs looked like they'd laugh now, which didn't help Garrosh's anger at all, he frowned and bared his teeth, charging at them and attacking them. The orc warriors didn't stop, they fought back but the war chief was simply too strong for them, however one of the orcs managed to inflict a bruise on his face, the orcs didn't win though and two retreated after one's death. Now, Garrosh stood bloodied from the blood of one of his own kin, his gaze went to the draenei lady who stood shocked and scared at a corner.
"I rescued you... now go, get out of here! And never speak of this to anyone, ever again!" The war chief shouted. The draenei did not move at all, her (e/c) gaze darted back to her rescuer as she took small steps towards him.
Garrosh frowned and held his axe defensively but gave off an expression as if he didn't care, he stared at her as she walked uncomfortably close to him
"Can't you hear me?" he angrily asked
"This... bruise.." she muttered, concerned
"You don't need to worry about this" he pushed her aside, but she simply walked back to him "well, did I ask you to save me? I didn't, but you saved me anyway. So I'm going to worry about that injury and heal it" she replied stubbornly
"Hmph..." he didn't have a choice but to accept the draenei's kindness and allow her to heal the injury...
