who the hell is that?

maya was always talking to someone but they had never heard the person's actual name. her dorm mates could always hear her calling the person different names like huckleberry, ranger rick, cowboy, heehaw just continuous weird nicknames. so all the girls in her dorm had just assumed that she had some friend that was a hideous hillbilly from Texas. there was no reason to be intrigued by this boy so they weren't.

one friday night, one of the girls from maya's dorm knocked in her door.

"hey hannah! what's up?" maya asked once she opened it.

"wanna go out with all the girls tonight?" hannah asked.

"i would but i'm going to over to a friend's house for a movie night." she says moving away  from her door to grab her bag.

"oh which friend?" hannah asks.

"no one just a huckleberry." maya says laughing. "i gotta go but thank you for the invite! i'll see you guys tomorrow!" she says leaving their dorm building.

"where's maya going?" ashley asks.

"she's going to huckleberry's house." hannah says shrugging.

"who is huckleberry anyway?" she asks.

"who knows? let's go." hannah says before they all leave to go out.

on many occasions, maya would pass up the opportunity to hang out with her friends cause she was always hanging out with ranger rick.

on a summer afternoon, maya was going to the pool on campus. she got dressed in her peach bikini and walked out with her towel.

"who're you going to the pool with?" hannah asks.

"good ole ranger rick. you guys can come with if you want." she smiles.

"eh we'll pass." sam says as they sit down on the couch watching keeping up with the kardashians.

"okay! bye guys!" maya says skipping to the elevator.

"why would she wanna spend so much time with someone so country like? she doesn't seem like that type of person to have hillbilly friends." ashley asks all the girls.

"honestly, i don't know. she's probably just friends with him for pity or something like that." hannah shrugs.

"i just really wanna know what he or she looks like. don't you guys wanna know what they look like?" sam asks and all the girls nod.

"well i guess we'll never find out." maria days before they go back to watching tv.

after about an hour and a half, maya walks back in from the elevator with a hot guy following her. maya's hair is wet and she seems to be wearing his shirt since he isn't wearing one.

"who the hell is that?" sam whispers to hannah.

"i don't know but he is mighty fine." hannah says. maya walks into her dorm room and lucas is just standing there staring at them.

"may we help you?" ashley asks.

"i'm just waiting for maya. do y'all have any food?" the mysterious boy asks.

"yeah, the kitchen is over there." hannah says. all the girls are literally drooling over his tan abs and wet skin. his hair is wet and messy but he still looks hot. the mystery guy walks over to the kitchen and starts searching through the fridge for something to eat.

"is there anything in here not marked 'maya'?" he asks laughing.

"girl likes to eat." the girls say.
