lucaya day seven!

time to party christmas style

today was the matthews christmas eve party and maya was so excited. she finally had a date to bring to riley's and she was so happy for once in her life. maya straightened her outfit and then she heard a knock at the door. she walked over to it and saw her boyfriend on the other side of the door.

"hi baby! you look amazing." he says.

"thank you babe!" she says with a smile on her face. her boyfriend, zach leaned in and gave her a quick peck on the lips. maya smiles against his lips and hugs him once they separate.

"you ready to go?" he asks rubbing her back up and down.

"yeah." maya smiles before grabbing her coat and locking her door. zach and maya held hands as they walked to riley's house. they talked about everyone who was gonna be there.

"so which friends am i going to meet tonight?" he asks.

"well first there's riley. riley's been my best friend since first grade, her and her family are the best people in the world. i love them all so much, they're basically my second family." she says smiling as she thinks about her best friend.

"that's cute." zach says noticing the beautiful smile on his girlfriend's face.

"then there's farkle, he's also been my best friend since first grade. he's been in love with riley and i since first grade too. but don't worry, he's dating riley so he just loves me as a best friend." she says. maya then goes on to talk about zay and smackle.

"is that it?" he asks.

"no. there's one more, lucas." maya says with a smile. "lucas is great. he's been my best friend since seventh grade. he's literally the kindest guy in the world, sweetest one also. we always call each other really weird nicknames and argue with each other but don't worry it's all just a big joke. i love my huckleberry." she giggles. zach looks at her really weirdly. she's out here saying that she loves some guy in front of her boyfriend. it doesn't make sense to him but he decides to brush it off.

"i can't wait to meet all of them." he says grinning.

"i can't wait for you to meet them!" maya says clapping her hands.

once they get there, maya knocks on the door and waits for riley to answer it.

"peaches! you look great!" riley squeals hugging maya. maya says the same thing and then introduces her to zach.

"riley, this is zach. zach, this is riley." maya says.

"nice to meet you riley! i've heard so much about you." zach says shaking her hand.

"wish i could say the same! but nice to meet you too!" riley smiles. maya glares at riley and gives a fake smile to zach. she introduces him to farkle, smackle and zay and he enjoys all of them. maya hears the door open and she smiles when she sees lucas.

"huckleberry!" maya squeals running over to him as fast as she can in her high heels.

"hey pancakes!" lucas smiles hugging maya and lifting her up a little bit.

"i'm glad you're here! wanna come meet zach?" she asks and lucas's face falls.

"not really." he says and maya frowns.

"please ranger rick, do this for me." she says with a pout and lucas sighs.

"alright, lead me to the dude." he says. maya smiles and grabs his hand leading him over to zach.

"zach, this is my huckleberry. lucas, this is zach." she says with a smile.

"nice to meet you lucas." zach says extending his hand out.
