Lt. Surge came back to the gym again after his battle with Ash Lt. Surge looked at the spectator seats.

"Who's next." Lt. Surge said to Leaf, Katrina. And Yellow.

"That would be me." Leaf said while standing up and going to battle field.

Leaf went to the battle field.

"This is a battle between Lt. Surge and challenger Leaf. It's a one on one battle. Let the battle begin." The referee said to Lt. Surge, Leaf, (Y,N), Katrina, Melanie, Daisy, Yellow, Ash, Misty, and Brock.

"Raichu come on out." Lt. Surge said while throwing Raichu's Pokéball.

"Diglett I chose you." Leaf said while throwing Diglett's Pokéball.

"Raichu use Body Slam." Lt. Surge said to Raichu.

"Diglett dodge it then use Mud Bomb." Leaf said to Diglett.

Raichu use Body Slam on Diglett but Diglett dodged and used Mud Bomb. It hit Raichu.

"Diglett use Ancient Power." Leaf said to Diglett.

"Raichu dodge it then use Body Slam." Lt. Surge said to Raichu.

Diglett used Ancient Power on Raichu but Raichu dodged and used Body Slam on Diglett. It hit Diglett.

With (Y,N), Katrina, Melanie, Daisy, Yellow, Ash, Misty, and Brock.

"Why is Lt. Surge not telling Raichu to use Thunder Shock?" Ash asked his friends.

"Diglett is a ground type Electric attacks doesn't affect ground types." (Y,N) said to Ash.

Back to Lt. Surge and Leaf.

Raichu finish it use Body Slam." Lt. Surge said to Raichu.

"Quick Diglett dodge it then use Magnitude." Leaf said to Diglett.

Raichu used Body Slam on Diglett but Diglett dodged and used Magnitude. It hit Raichu. Raichu fainted.

"Raichu is unable to battle Diglett wins and the Battle goes to Leaf." The referee said to Lt. Surge, Leaf, (Y,N), Katrina, Melanie, Daisy, Yellow, Ash, Misty, and Brock.

"Congrats Leaf here is the Thunder Badge." Lt. Surge said to Leaf.

Lt. Surge gave Leaf the Thunder Badge.
