So I hope you, Baylee, and everyone else loves this! The part two If my Lance Tucker one will be up either later today or tomorrow. Also my winter break is over, so coming out with these probably will become harder. So rip.

Since the beginning of your life, you had loved space. Earth seemed so boring, when the whole universe towered over you. When you were old enough, you started really taking an interest and astrology. The stars, all of the madness. It was a getaway from the Earth around you. When you were told that you could be eligible for the mission to Mars, from NASA. You felt as if you died, and because you grew up with a brain you said yes as quick as humanly possible.
Now here you were, and you had never felt more homesick. You were just told you'd be on the Ares for another two years.
You loved space, the crew and the whole experience, but you missed your family and the regular gravity.
A ringing sounded off in your ears and you realized that it was your video call from your mom. You stood up and walked quickly to the screen. You clicked answer quickly.
"Hey! Mom!!"
"Y/N! Oh my goodness, I miss you so so much. You look so pale!" You chuckled and moved some hair out of your face.
"I can't really get a tan up here mom." Your mom smiled at you.
"Y/S/N (your sister's name) just had her baby three days ago!" You're heart sunk, this was your sisters second kid. That you hadn't met yet. "It's a little girl." You nodded and felt a tear trickle down your face.
"What's her name?"
"I think Amy, or something like that. I can never remember." You smiled at your mom. She was looking at you and you nearly broke down in sobs. Just as you were going to wail like a child, she said he goodbyes and ended the call. When the red button flashed signaling that the call was over, you walked to the lab table you had been working on and sat down. You put your head in your arms and sobbed. You felt so alone, yes you had Lewis and Vogel was a good friend. But it felt pathetic and you didn't want to waste their time. Just as you were wiping the mascara from under your eyes, Beck walked into the lab. He set down the dirt, and started putting it away. You turned quickly hiding the tears falling down your face. Beck noticed you.
"Oh hey Y/L/N, you okay?"
You wiped your nose.
"Yeah! I'm g- good." You cursed yourself for sniffling. Beck's eyebrow went up, he didn't believe you were okay.
"Y/N. Be honest with me." You felt him come closer. You turned to face him and his eyes grew wide.
"You've been crying! What happened?"
You wiped some black from under your eyes.
"It's stupid." You shifted, and walked away towards the huge glass window. You sat on the ledge. The beautiful stars around you.
"Please, Y/N. Trust me. I- I really." He wanted to confess his feelings. For the past year all he could think about was you. You felt the same, but at the moment all you could think of is your sister, her kids, your mom and regular food.
"Beck. Can you come sit down?" He quickly walked over and sat down next to you. "I had my video call today."
Beck nodded in realization that you were probably homesick.
"I seen that you were finally getting one on the schedule, how was it?"
"Horrible!" You cried. "My sister, had her other baby. This is her second kid, and I haven't even met the first one." Beck put a loving hand on your back. You shifted closer to him. He tensed up for a second.
"It's going to be alright, I promise." Beck cooed. "Hold on." He stood and walked to the door. Shutting it, and locking it tightly. You smiled in agreement. If anyone caught you, it would seem as if their was a relationship. He came back over and sat down.
"Beck, can I confess something?" He smiled and nodded.
"I like you... a lot more than a coworker. I understand if you don't feel the same. God I shouldn't have said anything. I'm so sorry!" Obviously flustered you stood and straightened out the NASA T-shirt that you wore. You walked towards the door.
"Y/N! Wait, you never let me say anything. I feel the same!" You stood against the door, not facing him. You took a deep breath.
"You do?" You asked in shaky voice, still not turned back around. "If you're just doing this out of pity, I'll throw you into space." Beck chuckled. His footsteps getting closer by the seconds. The suddenly you felt his hands turning you around, you faced him. A blush resting on your cheek. Beck came close, so your foreheads touched. You closed your eyes. Then suddenly soft lips met yours. You smiled while you kissed him.
"Okay okay Beck. I really have to go back to taking dirt samples." He smiled and kissed you again.
