No Promises Part Two//BB

INFINITY WAR SPOILERS AHEAD: (but fr if you haven't seen the movie yet, ur super behind bud)

It took one huge explosion to send you into shock. Frantically you paced inside the house, one of M'Baku's men standing outside. Bucky didn't trust you enough.

"The man is here Y/N, to protect you. You're curiosity always gets the best of you,"

Bucky had said before going on to the hard battle. You walked to the door and opened it. The large man looked down at you seriously.

"Do you want some tea? Or if you feel even more eager you could just go to the battle and I'll sit quietly here. Have you seen the fire? It doesn't sound like somewhere I would like to be, would you?" The Guard looked from you too the battle.

"I'll be right back." You're mouth popped open surprised as the guard ran through the field.

"Seriously? M'Baku needs some new staff members." You mumble as you grab your gun and run through the woods and then to the palace. You run through the back entrance and towards where Shuri was supposed to be "locked" away. Inside, Wanda and Vision sat on a table. Shuri had herself busy with Vison's stone.

"Y/N?" You moved your head towards Wanda's direction. "What are you doing?" She stood and pulled you into a hug.

"About to go fight, where is this thing going on anyway?" Wanda looked down sadly and pointed at the huge window. You walk towards the window, and see the mass destruction. You cover your mouth in fear and sadness.

"So when Buck told me that this was a big thing, he wasn't joking?" Shuri shook her head but said no words.

"Thanos. He plans to wipe have the universe." Vision pipes up. "If he wins.... who knows what will happen." You turned and started walking out the door.

"Y/N, please be careful out there." Wanda chimes as you walk out. The nerves ate away at you as you walked out on the battle field. Bodies laid around you as you sulked farther on. A huge cloud hovered over where the woods should be. You started to run, luckily M'Baku and his men were fighting those creatures giving you enough time to run to the forest. Then you seen it, Vision and Wanda. How had they gotten to the woods before you? Time seemed to be slowing. You rushed as you seen Bucky standing close towards Steve. Bucky's eyes met yours and he rushed to you.

"You're crazy, go back home." Bucky said kissing you. You looked up at him with tears in your eyes.

"No. I'm not, you should have known I would have left eventually." Bucky rested his forehead on yours. "What in the hell is that?" Bucky turned and looked to see Thanos. He grabbed your hand and looked at you.

"Please, my love. Go!" You shook your head. "Damn it, Y/N." He let go of your hands and ran after the purple giant. You followed him. Everyone tried stopping him, but he threw them to the side like they were nothing. Bucky ran towards him.
"Bucky stop!" You yelled, but Thanos threw him to the side. Tears ran down your face as you aimed your gun. The next thing you remember was limping towards Bucky.
"Doll, you alright?" His voice sad, worried.  But then you saw it, his arms turning to ash. "Uhh. Steve?" Bucky turned to look at Steve and then back to you. Steve rushed towards you both. Bucky collapsed, turning to ash.
"Bucky!" You screamed falling to your knees, tears threatening your eyes. "Bucky, no." You cried into the pile of ashes.

"Y/N." Steve's voiced was stern. With big tears in your eyes you looked up. He looked sad as he pointed to your arm, slowly turning to ash like Bucky. Steve tried stopping it, but just like Buck you evaporated into nothing but dust.

And Bucky, a man true to his word, had promised to be back with you.

"No promises, you know that."
