The bar was full of lights, swaying bodies, alcohol and booming music. TJ watched everyone from the chair he sat at. The drink in front of him untouched, which was rare. He watched one girl in particular. You. In the past, you had been the assistant to TJ's mother. When she found out that TJ and you were secretly sneaking around, you were fired. He hadn't seen you in months. It was silly, but he was just intoxicated with your presence. As the music slowed and the crowd paired up, you parted to the bar. The bartender looked you up and down. He flirted aimlessly, and TJ hated it. You just asked for your drink, before another man walked up beside you.
"Hey beautiful." You looked down, wildly uncomfortable.
"Hi, I have a boyfriend."
"That's a weird name, my name is Nate." The man joked. You looked back to the bartender as he slid the drink over your way.
"Thanks." You mouthed. TJ watched as Nate slipped a roofie in the glass. You were oblivious and had zero idea of what was going on. TJ couldn't get across the bar in time. You took a big drink. Nate put his arm around your shoulder. TJ was pushing people to get to you. Nate and you were started for the exit. TJ was rushing and soon he was right behind you.
"Asshole." TJ growled, grabbing you from Nate's arms.
"Hey man, how's a guy supposed to get some." TJ held you close.
"How about you start with some consent." TJ snapped pulling you out of the bar. You're words were slurred as you walked through the parking garage.
"What's g going on? TJ, I'm think. I I think I'm sick." TJ and his driver put you in his car.
"Take me to my apartment, please." TJ pet your hair as you laid on his lap. Soon enough you had pulled up at the apartment. It took a little bit but TJ helped you into the apartment and in the bedroom. You slid the heels you wore off.
"Thank you." You whispered softly laying your head down on the pillow. TJ started to walk out. A small smile on his face. A lot of people didn't appreciate him, and that small thank you, made him feel something other than sadness.
"TJ? Can you st st stay here with me me." He turned back and nodded.
"Yeah, hun." TJ crawled up in the bed next to you. In an instant you were snuggling next to him, like you used to. TJ closed his eyes and he originally wasn't going to go to sleep, but sleep devoured both of you.
You're Point of View:
The sun pressed against my face, which usually never happened. I had black out curtains. My eyes popped open. Had I gone home with that Nate guy, what even happened after that? I turned over to see something I thought I would never expect.
"TJ?" I whisper in a scared tone. He soon wakes up, due to me yelling-whispering. I'm wearing my dress still, and if I did in fact had sex with TJ he would have ripped it off.
"Morning." His morning voice almost causing me to melt.
"Uh. Good morning. Did we?" A small smile presses his lips.
"No, a guy at the bar gave you a roofie." I put my hand over my mouth. "I couldn't just let you go with him, I hope you're not mad." In a weird instant, i engulfed TJ in a hug. Tears were falling from my eyes, and I didn't even know why.
"You okay, hun?"
"You you saved me! TJ I can't thank you enough. Honestly." I was so grateful for him, it made me almost want to rip his clothes on. TJ looked up at me, and suddenly I realized that I was on top of him. I quickly climbed off:
"Is there I can do to pay you back for saving me?" I ask sitting up.
"Go on a date with me." TJ proclaimed. I shrugged.
"Okay." I smile at him.
"Okay." He smiles back.
