it's true no one does, so here ya go;)T'Challa's Point of View:
I watched as the big jet swooped down on the landing spot. Steve Rogers and another man was visiting James Barnes. The entrance of the jet slowly, a bit too dramatically, opens. Steve walks out, and behind him a much smaller figure. Once the figure comes up beside Steve, I noticed it was a woman, and a beautiful one.
"This is Y/N, she was Bucky and I's friend back in the 40's. She also was one of the first women to be on our force. The Howling Commandos." I listened and could tell my her demeanor she was quiet, but respectful.
"Nice to meet you, this is an....absolutely magnificent place." I nod and shake her hand.
As we walk to the cabin, Barnes occupied. I couldn't keep my eyes off of her, we talked the whole way there.
"So, I assume people wrote about you. In history books?" I ask admiring the way her eyes wandered the Wakandan life around us.
"Opposite actually. My suit was recovered and put in the nurses section of the museum. I wasn't talked about hardly at all." A sad smile comes across her face, so I decide to be and nice and let her talk as long as she wants.
"One time, a man removed the pants I wore and stole them. It was humiliating!" I laugh and watch as she chuckles with Steve and Bucky. I was watching, just to see if Bucky liked her or was dating her in any shape or form. He wasn't, much more invested in Steve. So, I decided to invite her to stay in my suite. I was a gentleman, and raised to respect. She happily agreed.
Months would go by, and her visits became less for Bucky and more for me.
One day I decided to ask her to move in with me, she had shared my bed, padded around barefoot in my kitchen at midnight, watched the Wakandan sunset while I held her and we had even been intimate. Everyone in the kingdom loved her. Y/N was fascinated with the technology and loved listening to Shuri go on and on. My mother and her would venture the garden together, and I knew my father would be proud of my choice in her as my queen.
One night, as we laid in bed. A few months after she had moved into my room with me. I asked her to be my queen.
"I have an important question for you."
"Mm what is it?" She asked in a soft, tired voice. The moonlight hit her soft cheek perfectly and it made me smile to myself.
"Be my wife." I say and rub my thumb over her hipbone.
"T'Challa...."
"It doesn't have to be tomorrow, a week from now, months. I'll wait for you, forever. There is no way I could ever love another like I love you."
She smiles slightly and I can see the glint of tears in her eyes.
"I'll marry you. Any day. Of any year."
It seemed as if life was going great. Everything seemed at peace for once.
And then three months later, a man in town held Shuri at gun point while they all shopped for fabric. Y/N let the men take her instead of my mother and Shuri.
Shuri stumbled inside, with big tears. Falling to the ground, my mother and the guards all looked sad. I glanced around for Y/N. I thought she had died, and after they explained exactly what happened. I only knew two people who could help me truly find her.
I slowly walked towards the shack, I had asked for no guards. Bucky sat outside on the porch, a goat in front of him.
"Sergeant Barnes, I need your help." Bucky looked at me, with a worry in his eyes. Y/N would have been with me, if this was a regular day.
"Where is she?" He asked softly, standing.
"Held captives by a couple of bandits. I don't know if she's in Wakanda, Africa. I don't know and I need your help."
After Bucky started getting ready, I called Steve. Knowing that one of his best friends had been taken, came within four hours.
The whole nation had heard about the king's fiancée being kidnapped and in a beautiful effort they all started looking.
If Y/N could see how important and valuable she was to not only me.
You're Point of View: (Hope you're enjoying this)
It was so dark, and cold. I couldn't tell if it was morning or night. How many days had passed? Weeks, months? It was all a blur, and the small amount of food and water they supplied was not nearly enough to make me understand what was going on around me. I had picked up, on a few words in the language they spoke. But I wasn't fluent or catching on to them. And soon I was just giving up hope. The day I was kidnapped, was only four days before our wedding.... our wedding. Have I missed the wedding? A man came in with a knife and speaking, nothing I could understand. After yelling, he started cutting into my arm. I screamed out in pain and kicked him. Surprisingly he fell, the knife falling into a shadow. I stood from the cold hard bed they had me on and kicked him again. I snatched the knife quickly and cut the ropes from my ankles. I rushed out the door, holding the knife tightly. It felt like I was running 300 miles, as I walked through the cold warehouse like place. I pushed myself through a door, that led out on a balcony. I climbed over the side, and then lowered myself carefully. I jumped down and then it hit me how weak I really was. The bright sun, in my eyes made me dizzy and wobble around. The dead grass surrounded the place, cut up my feet. I gasp as I hear someone. The river, was right there. It was perfectly right there. T'Challa and I walked the riverbed at night when I was too deep in my own thoughts. If I went against the current, and swam. The river would lead to the back of Bucky's shack. If I was correct. I lunge in and start swimming up. It was painful on my tired muscles, and my whole state of being weak. I was feeling the rocks cutting my legs and arms. After five minutes of swimming, I had to pull myself onto the riverbed. I lay down on it, on my back. I groan and close my eyes. I watched as the soft blue skies turned to dark navy with white sparkles.
When I woke up the next morning or I think morning, my whole entire throat was dry and my body felt tired and weak.
"T'Challa!" Someone yelled. My body felt motivation flow through it. I slowly sit up and cough. "T?" I ask in a rough voice.
T'Challa's Point of View:
They had told me they found a woman on the riverbed near Barnes' shack. I was in the southern part of Wakanda so I had to hurry to get back.
Once I made it, I see her. The usual shiny h/c hair was matted and had mud dried in it, her smooth skin was covered in dirt, cuts bruising and blood dried. I pick her up effortlessly, her eyes opened slowly and she looks into mine. The same radiant e/c, unaffected by the negative times that were behind her. "Did I miss the wedding Challa?" She whispers and I kiss her forehead, taking her up to safety.
"It was supposed to be yesterday, but don't worry my love. We will be married, whenever your ready." She smiles slightly and I lay her in the bed. People were talking but I simply shut the door, locking it behind us. I helped bathe her, patch up her cuts, brushed her hair, gave her medication and kissed her nose until she fell into a deep well needed sleep.
A few weeks later, she wanted to leave the kingdom. Go to the garden with me, and just walk. Leaving my side was hard for her now. She was scared and paranoid a lot, but I didn't mind.
"Challa?" She asks as we sit on a bench in front of a beautiful orchid.
"Yes, love?"
"I think I'm ready to marry now. It's been weeks, and I'm sorry for holding you back. But I wanted to heal a bit, and I finally feel ready to walk down the isle, marry you and then kiss you until I can't breathe." A soft chuckle leaves her lips, and she turns to look up at me. Scars splayed across her jawline and arms, they would never heal. But I loved them, and her. They showed that she was a survivor, a goddess, a warrior... my queen.
"Of course. I'll let them know...next week perhaps?" I stare down into her eyes, and let my finger rub against her cheek.
"What if... we do a private ceremony? You're mother, Shuri, M'Baku, Bucky and Steve?" I raise my brow at Baku but nod.
"Of course, may I ask why? And Baku?" I watch as she laughs.
"Baku is nice, and helped with herbs." I scoff and kiss her temple. "Anyways, I just- I just want our family and friends here. Small, it's alright if you don't want to... I just don't want it too too big." I nod and shrug.
"I'm glad you think so, I didn't want a huge wedding like my mother planned." I laugh softly and bite my lip.
She laughs and stands slowly. "I need to try my wedding dress on, it's been a while."
I watch as she leaves the garden and a smile comes across my face."Do you T'Challa take Y/N to be your lawfully wedded wife, through sickness and health for as long as you both shall live?" Y/N's eyes searched mine, love driven tears spewing out the sides of them. Ruining her silver eyeshadow.
"I do." I say softly and rub my thumb in a comforting manner as she listens and waits for her line.
"Do you Y/N take T'Challa to be your lawfully wedded husband, through sickness and health for as long as you both shall live?" Y/N grins and looks up into my eyes.
"I do." Her voice was soft but lovely.
"Then, I now pronounce you husband and wife!" Everyone who was there clapped.
"You now may kiss the bride." I snaked my arm around her and let it rest on her back as I lowered her playfully. Kissing her with all the love and passion in my body. Her lips felt like comforting velvet and I never wanted to leave this kiss. We parted and she looks at me with wander.
"I love you." We both say at the same time. Her already blushed cheeks brighten with more pink. "Now, my wife. Let's go back to our room and pack for our honeymoon."Finna make a part two:) releasing a few parts tomorrow!
