Elsa and Anna's parents left to go to Rapunzel's wedding.
Their shipwrecked and that is the same ship Ariel explored during The Little Mermaid.
BUT THEY DID NOT DIE!
Everyone thought they were dead so they had a funeral and stuff, but they actually escaped on a life boat.
They washed up on an island.
What everyone doesn't know, is that they had a SON!!! And his name was Tarzan. So on the island, they built a tree house, bla bla, killed by a wild cat, bla, Tarzan raised by gorillas, all dat stuff.
