A man answers the door. He's wearing a grey shirt-jacket with a white t-shirt and grey cargo pants.
"Donald Davenport?" I presume. He nods smugly.
"Yep. Gwen?" I nod. "Come on in." He opens the door, revealing his enormous main room.
"Wow," I walk inside, examining the place.
"You have quite a beautiful home, Mr. Davenport." He nods graciously.
"Yes, yes I know." That response was a little bit boastful. I wonder if all billionaires are like this.

"Hey, are you okay?" He asks, gesturing to where dad hit me. I cover my cheek with my hand.
"Yes."
"What happened?" He asks, with concern.
"Oh, I um...hurt myself." I shrug and laugh. "Bad experience with the, uh, automatic pencil sharpener, I guess."
He nods, but looks as if he doesn't believe it.

"So, um...is Leo here?" He frowns. "Wait...I thought you came over for Chase?" I realize how it came out. Maybe I should try to rephrase.
"I did. He just kind of threatened to ruin our study da-" I stop myself.
"Session." He nods.
"Alright well," He says, looking around.
"No, he's not." Suddenly, a high pitched and annoying voice calls out:
"But I am!" I look around, trying to find the source of the voice. Then, on a wall close to the door, I see a white screen with some sort of circular figure.
Mr. Davenport points to the moving figure.
"That's Eddy. Our home security system."
"Yep! Hi!" I cringe. That is probably one of the most annoying voices I've ever heard.

Mr. Davenport checks his watch.
"Oh, I'm already late. Eddy, call Chase." Eddy's screen blackens, then re-appears in the next few seconds.
"He's coming." Mr. Davenport nods ands stars heading out the door.
"It seems that everyone is out, so it looks like you two will be alone." I smile.
He glares and in a joking way.
"No funny business." He says, before taking his leave. Almost as soon as he leaves, I hear elevator doors open. I turn and see a pair of them slide open from behind the kitchen.
"Hi Gwen! I mean," He coughs. "Hey." He walks over and sits on the couch. Laughing, I join him, opening my binder.

"What do you want to work on first?" I ask, then Eddy perks up.
"How about...chemistry?" He suggests. I hope I'm not blushing, as Chase mutters:
"Shut up Eddy. Anyway," He turns to me.
"Did we get any language work?" I shake my head.
"I didn't think so. I think we-"
"Oh?" Eddy asks. "So, in language, are you studying Romeo and Juliette by any chance?"
I look to the screen.
"Eddy, we're trying to work!"
"Ooh, work on what? Your relationship?" Chase glares at him again.
"We don't have a relationship!"
"Not according to Leo!" Leo? Wait, Leo!

"Did Leo put you up to this?" I ask.
"Well, why ever would you say a thing like that?" Eddy laughs. "Yeah, he did. He wants to sabotage your date. Usually I wouldn't do that, but come on! I chance to annoy people? I love doing that."
"Yeah," I mutter under my breath. "Well, your doing an excellent job."

So far, an hour has passed and Chase and I have gotten no work done. We've tried to start something, but then Eddy just starts teasing us again. Finally, after one last attempt at trying to do math, I can't take it anymore.
"That's it. I have to go, Chase."
"W-wait!" He says. "I-I can shut him off!" I give him a sorry look.
"Chase, he locked you out of your basement. Besides, I have to get home anyway. It's almost ten." He nods.
"Yeah. Okay. Hey," He frowns. "Wait a second. What happened?" He asks, gesturing to my cheek. Again?
"Oh, um..." I can't remember what I told Mr. Davenport.
"Oh, I was doing some cooking when something sharp accidentally hit me."
He nods.
"Are you alright?"
"Yeah. I'll see you tomorrow." Awkwardly, I take my stuff and leave.
I make a mental note to kill Leo later. But, that is unless dad doesn't kill me first.
